Wait, so that means they really won't make "ports" of the arcade no more, but just CS games with an original interface, like HP and the PS3 DDR are?

I'm down with it, but if Konami is focusing DDR CS on the Wii, they got a few things that they need to "update", like already stated (adding Challenge, edit mode, etc). I'm tired of these crappy HP games. Options are so hard to access, especially speed mods.

And using the Classic Controller is not as good as the Dualshock. Mentioning that...I don't want the DDR games to move to the Wii!

Probably. DDR II was just announced, so they're probably still working on the logo. They probably used the 2nd mix logo because this is the second game in the new generation.

The influx of these new people and the amount of praise and speculation...

It's fine! I don't want the dancing characters on the Wii to replace the mainstream characters from the PS2 which I hope they will be on the PS3. IDK why, but I just don't like the Wii characters that much.

I'm not anxious at all. The only reason I care about the release date is cause I hope its not too soon cause I still have LOTS I want to do on X2. Also, I hope it doesn't release while I'm in america like X2 did last year, haha.

Which reminds me, I have a request for you I'm positive can only be done in DDR X2. I'll just post it on your youtube channel when I make up my mind. So that's why we went to ddr-ray and other asian players (no offense) for the first batch of X2 videos.

Well, as long as we've got a couple days to wait, here's some of my speculative songs:

Heartbreak (?) / NAOKI

NAOKI played this at the second day of the special TGS Live Club Event, noting that it would be appearing on something this year. The song is a nice club/pop track, I'd say something of a mix between INTO YOUR HEART (Ruffage Remix) and Hit the Ground (Alexa Remix). You can listen to it here (mind the annoying MC).

DM STAR / NAOKI

I remember NAOKI responding to a post someone made on his wall that said something like "I'd really like to play DM STAR on DDR!" and he replied something like "Guess we'll have to put it in the next DDR then!". It's a nice song and definitely deserves some love in a dance game, especially since it wasn't even playable in DM/DE.

Mermaid girl / Cream puff

In my mind, this is the most likely crossover song. The song is unquestionably influenced by DDR and X2 included a lot of Ryu songs.
