It would be nice to have the next IIDX CS on the PS3. One of the big advantage of it on an HDTV would be the fact that the higher speeds that I usually play on would look more fluent in motion versus an interlace SDTV. Hell. With the PS3 being region free, I wouldn't need a Japanese PS3. I'm sure most, if not all, of us know that already.

Nah, if they will release anything it will Sirius for sure (might I remind you all of the 7th style ordeal again). I mean, for most of us Sirius would be like a new style since a good handful of us never got to play it in the first place. Beyond that there would be CS songs and revivals which are always fun...that and I enjoyed the Sirius UI and theme of Sirius much more than RA/Lincle.

i would love for them to load a bluray full of songs and video but not only the controller for it the music games still lag on next gen as well as hd tv's as ive played my ps2 on my 40 inch and have issues with it with DDR or anything.

You're getting lag because you're playing a PS2 on an HDTV. The resolution for the PS2 is 480i/p. It's being upscaled which takes up some time to display the image on the screen, thus creating visual lag. Audio, however, remains virtually lag free. I've been playing music games on my PS3 and 360 on my HDTV with GAME MODE on (some people don't realize the importance of Game Mode on an HDTV) and I have no lag at all.

i use game mode but there is still lag and ive used my ps3 as well when i had the ps2 compatible model with music games. either way im sure they are able to have it all good though if its ps3 and not ps2 based so then the only issue is the controller if they make one.

That's because game mode is NOT the panacea of music games, sometimes you get lag nonetheless. It really depends on your HDTV. All HDTVs produce lag (even CRTs), it's just that in some screens is tolerable, while on others isn't.

I thought that we were going for Lincle CS with a 2nd disc feature like Premium best, but it would contain the best of Sirius and Resort Anthem.

I'd honestly make sure future IIDX CS will be released on home consoles (with a legitimate controller) before we get trolled by konami like what happened with pop'n music.

Not really, unless you really want to get a bluetooth wireless IIDX controller. Which actually doesn't sound too bad of an idea. But you could still use controller for the PS2 IIDX games with using a converter for like 5 bucks.

thank god ps3's can play ps3 game's from other regions so i can actually play iidx for the first time
