UPDATE: My final order arrived, "Yuruyaka ni Aisarete" by Mizuki Ohashi! I did buy this new, but I opened it before I took the photo.



Fun Fact: "Yuruyaki ni Aisarete" is the first CD I've ever owned that comes with its own sheet music!



This was the first and one of only two singles by Mizuki Ohashi. The other one, I'm hoping to get a hold of eventually, although it may prove to be a bit more difficult, as I couldn't find it on Amazon. I'll be keeping an eye out for it though...

A fossil at work wants to sell his vinyl collection so I brought a few home so I can start cataloging it for him. I've already come across a few albums I'll be asking of him when I'm done with this. So much Chopin though, ugh. I'll be posting pictures of the vinyls I'll be receiving when I'm done archiving the first batch.

Bought a used donation copy of "Debbie Voltura - Flyin' High" from the library today for 50 cents.

Not entirely sure if this counts, but I bought a ticket to see the bands Crown The Empire and Volumes at the local venue and a ticket for the Vans Warped Tour 2015 in Hartford, Connecticut.

I think it would count, as it's a music-related purchase in some way. I posted about buying Headphones and Earbuds before, so I think this would also count for something.

Another Half Price Books purchase, $3.99. This was apparently a rental at a place called CD Time. I honestly don't know of anywhere in the USA that has CDs for rental. Must have come from a foreign market...

Just ordered Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear and Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head. Will post pictures when they arrive.

Bought Anthology 3 by The Beatles yesterday. Which means...

Now alls I need is the Free As A Bird single, and I'll be all set... at least with the Anthology material.

My dad owns the 2nd and 3rd anthologies, which I've looked at, but I never even realized the pictures connected to make one big image until just now.

These just came in the mail, along with the German version of the F**kin' Perfect! single. I'm expecting a Sia LP sometime between mid-May and early June.

This saddens me a bit . The whereabouts of the other three women is unknown? They just up and disappeared, and no one knows what happened to them? Well, I might have to go and get their album too, and keep their memory alive.

UPDATE: Just finished listening to their album on Spotify, and I've gotta say, to be honest, that it's REALLY not a terrible album. It's by no means a super great and groundbreaking album and it does sound dated by today's standards (it's from the late 90s/early 2000s, go figure), but it is decently listenable. I've looked it up on Amazon, and I'll probably be buying my own copy within a couple of months, along with the two CD-Singles, which seem to be available for a decent price.

Just out of curiosity, might anybody have any suggestions for some extremely obscure and/or "so bad that it's good" music CDs I should try and get a copy of? I do love me some amazingly bad stuff as well...

Thanks for the info! Yeah, it looked suspicious, the printing looked a bit low res, but the sound was alright, and it was only about 5 dollars at HPB. Inside the sleeve where it folds out, it had the front cover image on both inside panels, the disc itself had the front cover (or most of it) on it, the inner tray card part had the front cover on it, and the audio was claimed to be HDCD mastered, a common thing in bootlegs.

In other news, I've completed the building a data archive of CD-Rips I've been collecting over the past couple of months, so I've sold off the remainder of what discs I'd been collecting, except for these, a compilation and a single. Neither HPB or FYE would take these, so I'm most likely going to end up donating them or at least donating the compilation, as I still kinda want to try and get the other Mizuki Shashi single. I'd offer them here, but I can't ship stuff. Sorry about that...


UPDATE: I gave the Best of Trance compilation to a friend of mine, whereas the single, I'll definitely be holding on to. My data archives are made, so yay and all that...
