Steam Adds More Ways for Workshop Creators to Earn Money
This is a bad idea and is backfiring by negative reviews to Skyrim on Steam to even a petition against paid mods. Donating to the modder I don't mind, but forcing to pay for a mod is questionable. I hope Facepunch (Garry's Mod/Rust) and Tripwire Interactive (Killing Floor/Red Orchestra) doesn't follow the same thing soon. Skyrim on Steam is on free weekend and the base game will be $4.99 during this period.

Sad thing is that despite a few big channels such as GassyMexican, TheRPGMinx, and Ohmwrecker had videos of the asymmetrical game Depth (which is divers collecting treasures while the sharks have to stop the divers), the game is more dead than an unsupported free to play game such as Super Monday Night Combat, and Depth was by the lead maker of Killing Floor fame.
