Haha, I haven't seen the chart but I hear it's also more like a 13 than a 14 as well. KONAMI really seems to have forgotten what a 14 is, with Haunted Rhapsody and Amalgamation being more like 13s than 14s.

But then along came Chronos, so at least one person over there still knows what a 14's all about.

I'm getting the same result on the machines here in taiwan. I wonder if its the cabinet problem or a region problem. To solve this someone in japan needs to try this on an upgrade cabinet to see if it works or not.

Interesting... If we're starting to see disparity between the new and old machines I wonder if it's intentional. I'm honestly surprised that the old cabinets got upgrade kits this time around.

This reminds me of the EX Score on X2, which only works on the new cabinet & it's also involve in the numeric keypad. (Correct me if i'm wrong thou)

I just found out something. Japan got their latest patch 2011121800..
Maybe the Select music Rival thingy works on that patch only.
Japan has forgotten about Asian version patch again, just like X2 (RDA no POSSESSION & anti-matter, Groove radar bug, etc...)

And guess what, the patch was also responsible for fixing Mermaid Girl's timing issue.
So I got myself a decent Christmas present here in Taiwan - a photo of me getting D FC on Mermaid Girl EDP in Extra Stage

I thought the timing was a little funny on mermaid girl but still managed pretty well with 22p on Expert but for some reason I couldnt do challenge at all.

Yesterday I visited the arcade to play some DDR X3 as usual. Since DDR X3 has joint premium, I decided to let other people play with me when I didn't have a dance partner. Overall it was really fun! So I decided to get a video of me playing with another person. I'm on the right and he's on the left. Sorry about the bad quality, it was taken with my iPod. :s



Despite the patch update with Mermaid Girl's timing change, I still can't get a PFC.
