I see Oni has Vista. Piece of crap OS. I'm considering getting a Mac laptop now, unless Microsoft can impress me with Windows 7, whenever it comes out.

I don't mind Vista at all. Think of it this way: I'm using Vista, IE and Norton. I should be the most disappointed computer owner in the world. Though I'm not, as none of them have given me any crap at all for the year I've owned it (well, a year on 18th June).

By the way, it seems like IE 8 has completed testing and is now officially released.
Someone on YT said it took Microsoft 50 million lines of code to create it.

It hogs a lot of system resources as well. I'd rather use XP for the compatibility.

I can agree with that, but Windows has so many problems still with all of their OS's. They need to make Windows 7 harder to make viruses for somehow, or else I'm getting a Mac.

Pandy: I'd like them to fix the loading icon appearing during a video and the timer not running, beef up the spam filter and redo the whole piece-of-shit new layout. Everyone who tries it gets bombarded with requests to switch back.

Neither is Norton. I have McAfee on my new laptop and it's no less of a nuisance, maybe even moreso. I don't need bubbles talking about my firewalls all the time.

Which is funny because Firefox had tabbed browsing and other features well before IE 7 (2001 with Mozilla Application Suite vs. 2006). Besides that, one of my many gripes with Windows Vista is that some of my columns (name, type, etc.) disappear at times, especially in the recycle bin.

Grragghh!!!! I hate BG videos. Stupided idea ever. I could do so much better on Cartoon Heroes, R&P, SOB (Speed Over Beethoven), Waka Laka, and many other songs if I didn't have to deal with those stupid ass BG videos. I hope whoever makes them got fired.

Vivid I stupid shit too. I'd like to know what part of the rhythm to hit the step on, thanks. The fact that the freeze arrows aren't colored bugs me too. I'm sure I could shave a couple greats off of certain songs that have freezes on 16ths if the freezes were colored correctly.
Basically, Konami did a lot of stupid shit, and has barely improved since Extreme, since SN1 has many of the same problems.
ITG did shit right, showed that DDR is poorly made crap, so Konami killed it.

AFAIK, you cannot shut off the BG movies on arcade games, and even if you could, some of the BGs for the songs are even worse than the videos. Basically, you need either dark backgrounds like ITG had or Screen Filter like DDR X.
