he wasn't being a dick, nor was he trying to be. he has been asked several times, had random people PM him out of their way to ask, and etc when he doesn't even own the kit that he was running on his machine. he doesn't know where the hell it came from, his friend bought it; of course his friend is probably assisting him in getting a kit but that's on them and it's nobody's business. he was only using the kit for his videos and to run it publicly at UTBT (which now it isn't there anymore because of recent events)
and being fair; there are for sure a lot more reasons why that game isn't here. sure, the american division wants it but the japanese division doesn't; they are probably afraid that the game will not do well and they are probably already aware that are arcades are pretty much 100% dead if it's not a barcade or something similar to round1
just this type of attitude like (can't texas get a ddr 2013/2014 already) tone is a bit weird. i don't know if you're aware, but the people there are working pretty damn hard to try and get DDR in that round 1 in texas. problem being licensing issues and there are more games in the BEMANI lineup that will probably make more money then DDR will. it's a confusing situation but they're trying their hardest

1 i just didn't like Kon's response, with "i certainly will not" crap, i would have prefer, "unfortunately not." The former response felt arrogant.
2 So they can't just put in a Dave & Busters or Round 1 and hope for the best? I guess not.
3 Even if they did get in round 1, their is no round 1 in Houston, I would have to travel every time I want to play, which wouldn't be often, and if i'm not mistaken, i read somewhere that e-amusement data on a pass expires if not used for a long period of time, can you please clarify that for me? I would appreciate it.

So I might be going to a convention this weekend. I've never been to one before and was wondering if anyone has some advice.

Drink plenty of water, you don't want to get dehydrated. I've gotten dehydrated at several conventions before, and it's not fun. The last convention I went to I left early because I was dehydrated and sick. Of course, maybe living in Arizona and wearing a giant mask on my head was what lead to that problem.

so my teacher asked us to decide if streaming services like Spotify are killing music and one kid submitted this gem of a response
Quote: kid
No I don't think streaming services are killing music at all. Streaming music has become one of the great ways to listen to music today, and millions of people do it. Since the music which is being streamed is being streamed from the internet than it is a fair deal for the listener as well. Plus, artists like Taylor Swift make 10s of milllions of dollars each year so she should not be complaining, instead they should feel proud that people want to hear their music. Artists today are becoming ungrateful and don't realize that the common person will not pay almost $15 to hear a few good songs.

That is a very insulting response to a question like that
Especially considering the fact that he has no clue how much time and money these music producers put into their work
Fucking cheapskate

Probably going to do a playthrough of this custom campaign for Left 4 Dead 2, which also includes the Spencer Mansion from the GameCube remake/HD port, and the hospital from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Anyone wanting to party up, message me. Must have Teamspeak installed

Just got Elgato capture equipment for Twitch streaming.
Wondering if my first game to stream on it should be Borderlands Pre-Sequel, something Dynasty Warriors-related, or if I should stream some goofy-ass Japanese game I can't read shit of.
Shower. Con funk is one of the worst stenches known to man. The con isn't going anywhere; you can spare fifteen minutes to shower before you leave your room.

Nothing. Directly spraying people with deodorant gets the message across, but is often frowned upon, and depending on how douche-y the person with the funk is, they may even threaten assault charges or some dumb shit. It's usually not hard to find the person in the crowd carrying all the funk with them though, and that makes them easy to avoid.
Just don't be that guy.

As long as it's actual deodorant and not Axe.
Axe is not so much deodorant as much as it is douche confirmation in smell format.
