Here is something NOT DDR related, just a for a change, enjoy. You know what's bullshit? The fact that Namco Amusement Japan Can't get along with Namco Of America. That's the main reason why Maximum Tune 4/5 Haven't come to other parts of the world, mainly North America. They won't let them bring the game over, according to the North American Maximum Tune group, (which you all should join and support. when they got the chance to talk to the developers, they said this,"As sales and tactics departments are inter-company sections, they don't have direct channel to players.... contact "BANDAI NAMCO Amusement America" (BNAA). They have much power to North American arcade industry than us who are in Japan." In other words BNAA won't let them bring the game over here, and I don't understand why, WE NEED MAXIMUM TUNE, you international folks are lucky, us in North America, Get Nothing, and that's bullshit.

Same ideas apply even if this was DDR or not, arcades just don't really have that much support in America as they did 8 to 10 years ago. Basically any new arcade machine that gets released in Japan and Asia due to brands and deals with arcade companies can either only be played at select locations of the franchise OR if you have the money for it, you can import a cabinet. It's not impossible to import any Japanese arcade machine to the US (though they really are trying to alienate their games through the use of security codes and DRM), it's just really hard and costly to do it.

The thing is, the developers of maximum tune WANT North America to be apart of the community, they even said that in the response , that's not the issue i'm bringing up, the issue, is that the both sides can't get along, and that's making me angry because Networking and Structuring aren't an issue for the developers they also said that in the response. The other issue is that it's out of the developers hands in which countries get the game. I really hope people join that group, we need all the help we can get.

Well, then that's something internally the developers have to iron out if they want to get their game released overseas. As a lot of us have basically painted on the 10'ft. wall, patience. Patience, my dear boy, goes a LOOOOOOOOOONG way.
Nothing like this will get resolved in a day, week, month, maybe even a year. You can't rush them to push out a game that could potentially bankrupt them in the long run.
I mean, look at Duke Nukem Forever. Now THAT was one long-awaited masterpiece, wasn't it? ;)

Maximum Tune 5, is already out, and did you not even read what I Said IT'S OUT OF THE DEVELOPERS HANDS IN WHICH COUNTRIES GET THE GAME, the issue is, while other countries are getting to play what is another great entry in the maximum tune series, us north Americans are left in dust, because BNAA, doesn't want us to have the game, that's my issue, this is not me waiting for a new entry in a game series, this me being angry at BNAA, for not letting Americans get to play 5th installment in the best arcade racing series( in my opinion)

I'm mad because BNAA(Bandai Namco Amusement America) and BNAJ(Bandai Namco Amusement Japan), can't come to a consensus, and get the New Maximum Tune In The States, and The Developers want North America to be Apart of the community, don't believe me? My same exact thoughts, I mean boiling it down it is just a video game that one area of the world can currently play while a majority of the world still has yet to gain access to it.it's a video game dude chill lol
Eventually it will either come to the US or not, you never really know, but you shouldn't get so worked up over this. If you think Max Tune 5 not coming to America is bad, BOY have you been missing out on a TON of games that are still Asia/Japan exclusive that will more than likely never get to see the light of day in America, until it can be more affordable to import.
Oh, and I do play Max Tune, fun ass game, but I'm not crying over not getting to play the 5th itteration, hell the latest version in my area is still Max Tune 3.

No thanks, I'm sure even with that small amount of members on the 'official' Facebook group, something will happen that will make them be able to import it to the US.

i don't like your tone dude; i'm sorry. the fact that you have this type of annoyed or irritated tone at the fact that these games aren't in america yet is pretty amazing, there are loads and loads of reasons why these games aren't in america, they're too expensive to import, and arcades don't make as much money as they used to. it's fact, the only exception is round 1 and the only reason round 1 actually keeps afloat is because round 1 isn't only an arcade, they have a bowling alley + other things at the places.
take it into mind; some of the people working at round1 or other arcades are really trying to get some of these newer games but they are extremely difficult nowadays due to how expensive they are
also with the expensive thing in mind even if they did allow them to be exported to america; they are extremely expensive and hard to ship overseas (i'm talking thousands upon thousands of dollars)
i've made the *expensive* point around three times now but it's seriously a major factor of why these aren't over here.

Look, i'm going to be honest with you, I'm still a bit pissed with the whole Kon situation, even though, i will admit, I did kinda bring it down on myself, I would be lying if i said i didn't. That's probably part of the reason I said this crap, and maybe I'm going a bit to far. Also

he wasn't being a dick, nor was he trying to be. he has been asked several times, had random people PM him out of their way to ask, and etc when he doesn't even own the kit that he was running on his machine. he doesn't know where the hell it came from, his friend bought it; of course his friend is probably assisting him in getting a kit but that's on them and it's nobody's business. he was only using the kit for his videos and to run it publicly at UTBT (which now it isn't there anymore because of recent events)
and being fair; there are for sure a lot more reasons why that game isn't here. sure, the american division wants it but the japanese division doesn't; they are probably afraid that the game will not do well and they are probably already aware that are arcades are pretty much 100% dead if it's not a barcade or something similar to round1
just this type of attitude like (can't texas get a ddr 2013/2014 already) tone is a bit weird. i don't know if you're aware, but the people there are working pretty damn hard to try and get DDR in that round 1 in texas. problem being licensing issues and there are more games in the BEMANI lineup that will probably make more money then DDR will. it's a confusing situation but they're trying their hardest
