Anyway, coffeelover239 if you need to talk to someone who can get you a kit, try the guy who runs Tokyo Attack (on Facebook), he may or may not be much help though, but you have to consider getting kits, especially for DDR 2014 is PRETTY DAMN HARD and EXPENSIVE, so unless your arcade is willing to either get a kit that may take months or years to find one on sale OR get a white cab like what Nanuet Arcade is doing, then you'll just have to wait it out until something happens that allows the US to have DDR 2014 and beyond at any arcade/Round1.

Also, I wouldn't be to worried much about DDR nowadays, go for IIDX or jubeat or Sound Voltex, that's the new thing nowadays.

All you need is iidx.

It has it's purpose. It brings talent like siromaru, xi, BlackY, Yamajet, and among many others the closest to being in a core BEMANI game. Without it, we would complaining and saying stuff like "man. I wish some snazzy xi was in a Bemani game."

Let's face it. Without it, Bemani wouldn't be gravitating to good artists like sasakure.uk or onoken. That and we also wouldn't further explore potential in newcomers like DJ TOTTO, OSTER project, or Hommarju.

Thanks, thing is, we don't have IIDX, jubeat, or Sound Voltex In Houston, the rhythm game scene is almost dead in Houston, and me getting a DDR 2014 Kit will bring some flare that's been missing in Houston.

I wasn't trying to shun you dude; i'm being realistic. When he says there are tons of other people looking for a kit; he is not joking. When one goes up for sale, it's going to get bought fast.

what i'm trying to say is that if a kit goes up they're 90% of the time privately sold and aren't sold on public sites (they aren't even supposed to be sold outside of japan anyway. hence why people that are willing to sell them try to keep private).

sorry if my reply the other day sounded somewhat shunning or rude, but i'm just setting the truth dude; they are incredibly hard to find and the odds of getting one is very low. you also need card readers on a machine, and certain hardware to even run the game anyway on an arcade machine. (which you have to buy card readers and they are a pain in the ass to find because those as well are also highly sought after)

with all of that out of the way if you do manage to find one for sale and buy it then good on you; i wish you luck on that

I do accept your apology, it's just I've been having a crappy week, and this isn't helping, I know it takes a lot of work, but someone has to step up, take the role, hell, Kon was part of my inspiration to even do this damn search, and I just felt shunned when I got the response from him. Especially because I need help in my mission Plus, we don't even have beatmania or pop'n music in Houston,TX, so getting a DDR 2014 kit/Dedicab can open up the possibility for that as well. I feel lonely on my mission, and not having an extra hand hurts. If their is anyone I can talk to, just let me know. Someone told me to talk to head of Tokyo Attack on facebook, i'll start there, and see where that leads me.

Spolier Alert: Round1 is looking to expand it's presense in Texas in the coming years. Have paitence.

Yeah I was about to comment on this, there is a Round1 in Texas that has IIDX PENDUAL, GITADORA, Taiko No Tatsujin, and a whole slew of Japanese arcade games.

It's also going to be getting a new rhythm game which, well, surprised even me. ;)

But I can't wait, I want to see a round 1 in Houston Soon, I know their is one in Arlington, But you know wanna how far that is from me, (In Slow Mo) 4 HOURS, and they can't even get in DDR 2014, which is pathetic, because an independent place like Nanuet Arcade Can get in A White Dedicab straight from Japan. Holy Crap, their is so much wrong arcades right now in Houston, The only Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune/ Initial D Cabinets have the card readers off, no gives a crap about new DDR, and the only help I wanted to get isn't even their, that's not just bullshit. That's Fucking Bullshit Man, I could go on.
