Am I the only one that was hoping for the megamixes to not return? I wonder if they will be part of a reveal or if they will be a "suprise"?

At this point, Reveal 5 could be anything. I'm hoping it's features, and not just songs. Don't get me wrong, they've got some awesome songs going, but maybe they should try to spread them out between separate titles? ;)

Although this gives me hope that the last reveal will be new boss songs.

Me. I think they're wastes of space, and will probably comprise the next reveal at least in part. But that's fine, I have everything I want with this game. I can ignore content I hate, but I can't play content that isn't there, and they've put everything I want in this game, so bravo, KONAMI!

Thank you for saying that. I've read way too many comments about people complaining that a certain song or something is in, when they could very well ignore it. You don't have to play anything you don't want to.


Also, besides the obvious Challenge difficulty and X scale, what gameplay related elements have been confirmed by that screenshot? I think it's:
- At least the Hottest Party 2 megamix is in
- The unlock system uses DDR Points at least partially

Anything else?

X3 interface, and a favorites option (unless that was in previous games, forgive me if I'm mistaken)...

Short. Not every song is getting a full version.

I'm disappointed that they need to repeat the old megamixes (assuming that HP1 and HP3 will also return). I guess they serve as good advertising for previous titles. I hope they have doubles charts. I do look forward to a new DDR 2010 megamix if one is in. As long as it doesn't use A Geisha's Dream remix, I think I stand a chance AAAing it. I just hope that there are a couple surprises in the song list that we haven't seen (i.e. please no Lesson by DJ),

I'm relieved that challenge charts are in. I'm curious if shock arrows will make their debut in the Wii series. I really want to play smooooch oni at home.

The reason I wouldn't mind seeing the megamixes is right here. I don't want to have to buy that piece of plasticine shit in order to play excerpts from, like, MAGIC PARADE or Private Eye or something.
But holy crap, I'm liking this scale. And this challenge mode. And and and. Everything about this game is positively sublime.

They just totally made up for 2010, and I don't even have the game yet. This will definitely not be a boring mix to say the least, the only thing I am sorta concerned about is WHO stepped the new songs. The X2 stuff I'm not even remotely worried about, but if the HP2/2010 team did the charts for the new songs then we could have a potential problem for a decent portion of the list depending on how bad it is. I ESPECIALLY have my fears for the doubles charts if the 2010 group stepped these as they have zero experience on that front. If it's the HP3/AC group, then we're good to go.

I don't know about making up for 2010, but konami sure seems to have proven than they can rock hard when they give a care. Here's hoping they give a care next year too.

Come to think of it, with the 1-20 scale, who's willing to bet the HP Megamixes will all either be 14s or in the case of HP2's a 15.
