just letting you guys know, if there's anyone in las vegas/nevada there's an arcade that recently opened up that has the first official maimai cabinet in north america, currently running orange.

plus it has jubeat saucer (not sure if it's fulfill) and DDR X2 (probably jap)

not sure if there's e-amuse connection on either but there's card readers on the X2 cab so stay strong

Tricky and SSX 3. The 2012 reboot is awesome, but not Pro Skater awesome.

Tricky is still the greatest extreme-sports-type game ever.

I really liked SSX3. Tricky was the breakout hit, but for having one big mountain that you can make your bitch, 3 was brilliant. On Tour was shite, mind.

And American Wasteland is my favourite THPS after 4. It was basically what Underground wanted to be but without the fucking about of Underground 2.

My favourite THPS will always be 3 because I always thought Pro Skater games should be closed areas and 2 minute time limits. That's just how I like Pro Skater. And I prefer Tricky to Out of Bounds, even though they're both fantastic games.

Also I was of the same belief until I played 4. Also Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 was REALLY good. Larger areas and a 3 minute clock.

I don't own the game anymore, so I can't say. And I always had the impression BMX games would be severely limited on tricks.

Dave Mirra really wasn't. It had one button on body moves, but all the tricks could be tweaked with another move on a different button which controlled hands/feet. So you could do a backflip, during the backflip pull a no hander barspin, that sort of thing. Add all the tweaks together and it was a really clever system for its time.

Basically imagine Tony Hawk's controls if you could do flip tricks whilst you do grabs.

I'm guessing Wiis are pretty cheap nowadays, especially the old models used. They can do it just fine.
