Actually, I'm thinking that the next-gen screens are really look a hell-of-a-lot better. As Arctic says, the release is still months away (and some of those screenshots are clearly mocked-up, not taken during actual gameplay).

Any screens of the songwheel?

Many of these screens seem to confirm that the PS3/360 will be using HP3 dance routines. I can clearly see them doing the Dynamite Rave one from HP3 in these screens.

One of the advantages of universal song list is that the work done by the HP team to create new dances will benefit all platforms; there is no reason why all the new songs should not have dance routines if they have one in HP3.

Konami never seems to like releasing screenshots of the song wheel, you'll probably get to see it when the first playable demo is showcased.

...how do downloadable demos work on the PSN and Xbox Live? Do they give them out BEFORE the game comes out or after?

Because i remember that the MGS4 demo came out AFTER the full game came out and the CoD:WAW demo came out not too long ago, but the game's been out for months....

Some companies just don't do demos at all.

the new character design makes me feel sad

The full ESRB summary has popped up just as I thought it would. Just like HP2, it's been rated E10+ for Mild Lyrics and Suggestive Themes.

This is a dancing simulation game in which players perform dance steps and hand shaking in-time with arrow indicators that scroll from the bottom of the screen to the top. Player score points by hitting the corresponding panel/arrow on the dancepad to the beat of the music. Some music videos depict women wearing short-shorts, thigh-high stockings and garter belts, and tops that expose some cleavage; dancers occasionally make exaggerated hip movements or provocative poses. Some song lyrics contain suggestive material (e.g.,"Getting girls is how I live" and "Boys call you sexy") and the expletive "damn."

I know the second title they're referring to with the lyrics is When I Grow Up but what about the first?

do you want to see the song wheel because of the songs or the way it looks like?
it looked like GFDMXG songwheel in white/grey. You had the banner for the song and its difficulties just below placed in a quite nice manner. But isn't that in the trailer or we saw more than what was in it? I should have it on my camera but I'm not at home.

The game is planned for summer 2010 so I think we have to give KONAMI some time. But what I've seen so far (not gameplay) it looked good. at least it did not feel like watching stepmania even though you can do it in it.

The new DYNAMITE RAVE, it was one of the first KOs listed to more than likely be on the game. Seeing as how there's been no deviation of the unified soundtrack yet if a song is confirmed from one version of the game we can safely assume it'll be on all of them.

Dynamite Rave was confirmed in a video and it even showed the routine on Basic in HP3's demo at the time.

oh wow the HD version's screen shots are sexy as hell. i need to get my xbox sent in for the RROD fix now.
