As some of you may know, my dad had cancer a few years ago. Ever since it left him, he's been on a steady road of recovery. He was clean for almost 3 years until a month or so ago...

It's come back. He has been going through some testing with doctors so they can determine what to do. Luckily they caught it early because he feels fine. However, the other day I found out that they never let him finish his chemotherapy because he didn't have medical insurance (it ran out or something, it's complicated). That really pisses me off because I bet if he had been able to finish his chemo, it wouldn't be back now.

I swear these medical insurance companies are freakin' schemers. All they care about is money. They don't care what your illness is or how serious it is. I'm really sorry to hear this dude. I hope your dad recovers permanently.

Thanks all. He doesn't appear sickly or anything like that. He's physically fine (well, at least not-sick lol). This Wednesday he's going to see his doctor and this will be the make-or-break day I think. Waiting sucks.

I just think of it this way: he's already overcome it once, so he can definitely do it again. He told me he's gonna put up a good fight.
