Get hyped for DashCon 2015 aka the greatest convention of all-time, future home of the Dual Ball Pit!
I give the tumblr community props for being able to poke fun at themselves in regards to this whole DashCon fiasco, this is a pretty messy situation. At this point it doesn't seem like it's a total scam, just a matter of the people in charge not having a clue how to do basic things, like take responsibility for anything. A bunch of big name groups left after not getting paid, people on tumblr were surprised, but what else do you expect when there's no written contract and no money is presented upon request? The ball pit thing seems to be what "broke" most of the staff/admins at the con and began the slow crumble of the whole thing. May or may not be some lawsuits to follow, especially if any more news spills about the $17000 and the money trail, it just keeps getting better. The take away from this Con is that tumblr users should never be left in charge of trying to organize any future events ever again, it's just going to end up in some sort of hilarious tragedy.
Personally I don't like seeing cons ever fail or fall apart, but in this case they brought it upon themselves and I hate the way this was set up. It's falling apart with hilarious results and i'm loving every minute of it. I pray this does not get old any time soon, I just started getting back into the 4chan cosplay board after not setting foot in it for like 2 years and the OC that were coming up with is making me enjoy the board culture again.

okay in all seriousness, I think it's kind of ironic how ZIV generally preaches a "be nice to everyone" attitude yet is so closed-minded and will effectively shut out anyone who has opinions different from their own.
If you believe in any of the following you can almost guarantee you will be banned here or at least downrated into oblivion:
-DDR enthusiasts are weird/awkward people
-Konami does not make good games
-Criticize Japanese culture
-Not being completely and absolutely open minded about sexuality
-Even lightly joke about any of the above, even in a completely obviously non-serious manner
Edit: I still don't see anything from iCod that looks even remotely worth downvoting
