Hello everyone! Hell of a bump, I know, but it's important. We're currently working on a QoL update for the simfile pack which includes chart rerates and fixes, audio sync/EQ fixes, video sync fixes, new graphics, the long-awaited separate video pack, and a reorganization of the simfile category.

We've been getting feedback over on our Discord server for a while, but in order to receive your feedback in a well-organized manner, we've created a feedback form for users to fill out. If you have any concerns regarding any simfiles in the pack please fill this form out so we can take them into consideration for future patches. Feel free to submit multiple entries as you see fit.

Hey, glad to see that this project is still being worked on and polished. What is the expected end for the feedback period? I won't have much time to pore over the XX charts again until early next week.

The only complaint I can remember off the top of my head is that some songs are marked as XX-specials and only feature 1 custom chart, but others have 1 custom chart and all of their lower difficulties from their original game as well, which feels inconsistent. I'll see about shoring up the exact ones for a response in the form if I find time.

XX-Specials are a mockup of DDR X's "X-Specials", which only featured a Challenge chart to older songs in DDR. They don't include the original charts in those files.

As long as our project server has activity from people, we will continue to collect and organize feedback.

Next up Dance Dance Revolution Crossover Central for Coming Soon

I'm using this theme with Outfox and some characters and everything runs fine. But I have to manually select characters, although "Dancing characters" is set to "Default to random".

Is this normal behavior?

Edit: Figured it was related to profiles. I needed to change the setting for my profile so now it’s fixed.

This overhaul consists of various quality of life changes made to the pack including chart fixes and rerates that were suggested by the community, new graphics, audio fixes, chart credit fixes, the addition of DMCA tags and license credits, and polishing the pack
overall to create the definitive version of the DDR XX songpack.

The simfile category has been completely reorganized and revamped. Songs are now sorted into proper categories. You will notice that background videos have been removed from the category. This is to reduce the filesize of the pack, as not everyone wishes to have the BGAs. As a result, the songpack has shrunk in filesize dramatically, going from 5.022gb down to 1.622gb. Videos, which have been re-encoded to reduce their size, can be downloaded through a separate video pack which is available on the category.

If you own the DDR XX pack already, you can simply download the patch .zip which is linked in this post or on the main post and category to receive all the changes that were made. If you do not own the pack or simply wish to redownload it, the category has all of these changes as well.
