No, that's without RANDOM. I never use RANDOM.

Got my 6th Dan last night on Happy Sky - it's the only 6th I've tried but it's been bothering me for a while. Got about 1900 EX on Dawn - The Next Endeavour as well, which I was very pleased with.

I had a look at 7th Dan but it starts with Xepher Hyper - forget that! I think I'm going to look at some other 6th courses while I work up to 7th.

Nearly every 7th Dan consists of all 10s, mostly on Hyper, clearing as many 6th Dans as you can and trying each 7th Dan is a good idea. Also, be prepared for the huge wall between 7th and 8th Dan, as it may take as long as it took to get from the beginning to 7th Dan just to get from 7th to 8th Dan. I had cleared my first 11 back in October (8th Dan is when they start using 11s), yet I still have trouble with about half of the 11s and have only cleared 5 12s, all of which aren't particularly valid, since 4 of them were scratch based songs on a KOC (Innocent Walls, Setsugekka, Concertino in Blue, Troopers) and the last one was a total fluke that I can't seem to get close to. (Colors)

I'm getting closer to passing moon_child and one or eight, though. I'll probably pass them in a month or two, and maybe V and/or tripping contact along with them.

New Accomplishments:

Cleared Traces Hyper in 10th Style (really fun song) and Cleared The Deep Striker Hyper in DJ Troopers. Colors on Hyper finally got cleared a few weeks ago. My next challenge will be clearing G2 and V on Hyper....

I just managed to pass 6th DAN on DJ Troopers. I'm complete garbage when it comes to fast scales and Spica always kills me. This time it left me with 6% though.

On the 3rd song, I was like OMFGYESCOLORSYES. I got back up to 50% at the end. I would have crapped my pants 2 weeks ago at Anisakis but I played it like 5 times before retrying 6th dan (64%). Managed to pass it.

I also recently passed my first 10: avant-guerre another. Thank goodness for no scratches. Second one was Himawari another and no more since then. I get close on Time to Air, waxing and wanding, and Kachoufusetsu, all on hyper.

I also got the VanessaVIP pic by AA'ing ZERO [n], Honey Punch [h], and The Smile of You [a].

Next is the Time to Air/Military Splash pic but I can't find 3 songs to AA for the life of me. Any suggestions?

Went to Cali's old 3rd Mix Machine and played some songs there.
All A's even with a busted upper corner.

Cleared 2 new 11s: Red Zone [a] and Harmony and Lovely [a]
Also hard cleared A'd Gold Rush [a], first 11 hard clear

I passed my first 11! Fascination MAXX [h] HOW APPROPRIATE!

Just one of the many reasons why I don't mind gimmicks.

I also passed 7th dan on Gold.

Then there was 7th dan on DJT. I finally passed Ristaccia. MENTAL MELTDOWN wasn't too bad. And then four pieces of heaven [h] showed up as the last song. I knew I was screwed.

...

I failed on the last note. Actually, a scratch and two keys. RAAAAAAAAGGGGE! >:O

78% Please Don't Go [a]

Dammit

Ow, burn!

I actually took a picture of a 78% I got on a song one time so if there was ever a time I needed to get extremely angry for no apparent reason, I'd just look at it.

Anyway, that seriously sucks. I know I'd want to kill something if I 78%'ed a 12.

Yeah, it's really irritating when that happens, since the next tries usually result in like 40% or lower.

Well at the very least, I managed to clear 8th Dan on DD, first 8th Dan I've cleared.

Try DD's 9th Dan, it's one of the easiest on all post-9th styles.

Also try Red's and HS's (If you don't suck at Rakuen) 8th Dans.

I got destroyed at the end of Broadbanded [a] when I was doing so well. I'm assuming that the song I got killed by isn't the hardest in the set.

I also got crushed at the end of SOLID STATE SQUAD [h] at the end of 7th dan. Woo, the rage. I thought Concertino in Blue [h] was the least I had to worry about. >.>

First four pieces of heaven, now SOLID STATE SQUAD. I feel deterred from trying 7th dans again. I guess Gold 7th is my only one for a bit until I can get down those two songs.

Broadbanded was the only reason I ever couldn't beat 8-dan when I beat 7-dan, so don't worry, it is the biggest problem in the set.
So Fabulous [A] and Quantum Teleportaion [A] are the songs after Broadbanded, just in case you want to know.

And yes, SOLID STATE SQUAD [H] is very irritating to deal with due to the 1-3 and 1-7 8th chords and the left side focus and lack of a bass key at the end.

Yesterday, I cleared Anasakis and Steel Needle in Hyper with a B!! Wow, I've cleared 6 Level 10's and only have about 4 Level 9's to clear. BTW, is it just me or is it that Steel Needle on Hyper is HARD at the beginning, and then gets a LOT easier at the end..hmm...

Anasakis is not a hard song on Hyper, but be very careful at the end. The chords are TRICKY...don't say I didn't warn you..
