But, read back in the thread a bit, and you'll see that this is the thread for general game ideas, not ridiculous pipe dream hoped for song lists.

Anway, I'd like to add to what I said previously. I want a similar unlock speed to SN2. i.e. if you're really good, you can unlock everything in just a day or two, otherwise, you can unlock it all with a couple weeks of dedicated play. I think having to wait a bit for the unlock adds some suspense to the game, and it'd be less interesting if you just had everything from the start.

I'd like to see a return to the 5th/7th Mix style unlock system, where unlocks are achieved by just clearing stages. That way, unlocks are immediately available, and new unlocks could be added through e-Amuse (should it be implemented), so popularity in the arcades is always high.

I'm a strictly home player.
Having the unlocks occur for completing objectives in normal game mode would be cool though. Just have a challenge randomly pop up before the song starts, and that song acts like a mission in mission mode would.

I remember something like that in Virtua Fighter 4's arcade mode, where extra challenges could be picked randomly and done for extra points. Implementing this into an unlock system would be pretty clever...

IMO they should get rid of the whole limited life bar/sudden death for extra stages. I think IIDX's system is better where extra stage is a difficult song, and then the OMES is an even MORE difficult song with regular life bars.

Also yeah, its already been covered but they need to tack on 11 and 12 ratings. Obviously they shouldn't re-rate EVERY song to fit the new scale like IIDX did, but only promote some 10's.

There should also be more non-extra stage 10-12's that are both AC and DDR originals. Seems like a lot of the non-extra stage 10's are either crossed over from CS versions like Max 300 SMMM and PARANOiA Respect or bemani crossovers like Xepher and Sakura (yeah i know, not a 10 anymore). I'd also like 10-12's that aren't always hardcore techno, maybe some stuff more like Stompin at the Gotham or Grandolin.

I agree with VIper i would like to see more variety in boss songs .... I wish they would take the liberty to remix there old songs instead of just repeating them

I know, they should expand the rating meter. There's no reason why DDR can't if IIDX could. Or at least change the standards for a 10 so Xepher and Max 300 don't imply the same difficulty as FELM and PR.

Oh im not saying they dont remix songs Im just saying i wish they did it more often !

I used to want them to remix old songs more. I was kinda sad when i saw that there was no new MAX song in SN2, but after getting used to pluto and pluto relinquish, im a lot more open to brand new songs. Though i was happy to see Phoenix and Hades.

Another thing SN3 desperatly neeeds a new announcer. Seriously, im sick of this guy.

They need to change the announcer guy in battle mode (which it is Scotty D.) he's very annoying >_<

Scotty D. sucked ass, his englished sounded weird. Not broken but just....... weird. I like the idea of multiple boss songs but I thought they should give each boss song its own Encore extra stage. Different song for each boss song.
