Misrated songs

I think the 12-15 range in general is so poorly defined by Konami that everyone has a separate idea of what those ratings actually mean.

I guess it was rated by the same person who dubbed MOON D- a 1. This was a 3 before the X scale came along...

Not sure if Old scale/past games are accepted on this thread, but this one kinda stood out to me while playing Extreme JP CS.

And it's only exasperated when you have songs that aren't well balanced, meaning you have one small section that is very difficult and the rest of the chart is much easier. Examples: Under the Sky, Wicked Plastik, Adularia, Remain

Or the same person who rated Funk Boogie's S- chart lower than the S- chart.

It's justified, the is a looooot more technical than the chart. Corner jumps, 4th crossovers/streams, etc.

I'm surprised Konami never fixed Funk Boogie S- like they did with GORGEOUS 2012's charts in SuperNova. That chart is clearly unfinished.

Arrabbiata EDP is actually a 16. However, I do agree that it should be a 15. (I feel like the only reason Konami rated it a 16 is because of that one jump (P1 down/P2 left) in the ending stream.)

you look at the fuck ton of 8th crossovers and spins at 225bpm and say it is a 15
you look at the fuck ton of movement throughout pratically the entirety of the chart and say it is a 15
all of these, plus the weird ending jump you mentioned, make it easily a medium~hard-tier 16

I meant to say DDP, which is currently a 14. EDP isn't even an easy 16, it's fucking brutal (compared to something like Voltississimo, which I can get an AA on, the patterning in Arrabbiata EDP is insane and terrible even if it's less dense)

Looks like a 14 to me, KONAMI is back on their "here's a 15 that is really not a 15" shit again that they have been doing the past few months (Better Than Me / Globe Glitter) smh

I'm just going to reiterate that Paranoia Evolution is an easy 13, and also should have been bumped to a 9 like DROP OUT was in the old scale.

Also Lemon DSP is not a 9 but like, that is not a controversial take.

But if you've PFC'd them both wouldn't you opinion on their difficulty be more valid because you have a better understanding of the charts?

I know this has already been discussed in this exact thread, but I still think Drop Out (From Nonstop Megamix) and Drop Out are rated perfectly for what they throw at you.


Paranoia Evolution is harder than HVAM and I'll never change my mind on that.
