Uh, I'm pretty sure everyone hates the PS3 version.
You're assuming things. I personally think the PS3 version is extremely well done.Post #202 · Posted at 2012-03-11 04:35:00am 13.2 years ago

I have a soft spot for the songs in Disney Grooves. Except no Bet on It makes me sad.

Beat'n'Groovy is actually in the top 5 most downloaded games from XBox Live of all-time. It was that good.

So is this thread still about controversial opinions or just outright lies?

I don't think Trip Machine Survivor is a 9 footer. More like an 8 footer in my opinion.

-Happy Sky had one of the best Bemani themes of all time.
-beatmania CORE REMIX is extremely under-rated.
-Yuni (from SN2) is the best Bemani character of all time.
-ParaParaParadise and keyboardmania should be revived.
-beatmania THE FINAL loading screens are so long they are nearly unbearable.
-DDR (2010) and DDR II are awful games because of the gameplay interface.
-Dancing Stage EuroMIX is the most broken DDR game of all time.
-Zero (The DDR character) is still a faggot.

@Zukin-Man
That post alone is a controversy, so to speak.

-I'm willing to put up with DDR 2010 Wii just because of Choreography mode.
-I feel bad that other people don't appreciate or perhaps even noticed Sota Fujimori's return (Anna's as well) on DDR X2 and his boss song, New Decade. But when you look into it, he was really only gone for one game, and even that is disputable.
-Sometimes, I compare and contrast DDR and Bust a Groove/Move, like how Bust a Move's dancers are affected by how well you do and the fact that it has a somewhat-but-not-really pause button. These features could spice up DDR if Enix and Konami had partnered up.
-For a time, some of my friends were paying more attention to Chronos than Diamond Dust. I prefer Diamond Dust over Chronos.
-DDR PS3 may be a hack job, but there are some details there, like the inclusion of the IIDX version of Max 300, that makes me say that they did do serious work on it. To level it off, the license choices were WTF!!!-worthy and made you think if they were gonna use dance remixes of all the ballad songs, which makes me think that they did a half-assed job.
-The DDR version of L'amour et la Liberte in X2 PS2 was likely a mistake, I thought that they meant to include the planet remix version.

Sweet jesus, yes, I think the EXACT same thing... I think X2 PS2 could have had A LOT more in it as well, such as:
-The Party Collection originals (Respect, Stars, etc.)
-Perhaps a shock special
-Jupiter, along with L'amour et la Mercury, so that the planets' release in the US would've finally been complete. Mars and Moonster made it, why not those two?

Jupiter's not in an overseas console version? Wasn't the source already in public domain at the time of SN2?
What is seriously stopping them from including it on an overseas release.

- The jun bosses are fun and cool.
- I pronounce Xepher "ZEE-fuhr"
- Black Rose Garden is one of the best things that's ever happened to DDR and is severely underrated
- 凛として咲く花の如く can go die
I'm siding with PaperSak on the matter of Zero (except I don't find him "lovely" and he doesn't belong with Alice

The Hottest Party series had some of the best DDR games I'd seen/played in a while - with a fresh break from Japanese licences and run-of-the-mill Naoki songs by catering the songlists more to a western market.

A song can be public domain but it's actual performance of the song is has copyrights

I don't know about how controversial is this, but KONAMI should've kept the SN2 version of Saturn instead of using the IIDX version.
