Just because they only revealed 11 artists doesn't necessarily mean there will be only 11 licenses.

His point was more like there is no indication that's the only licensed artists that will appear, but sure, I'd be down for doublefrapp. Ooh La La La and Ride a White Horse would be nice picks, but I haven't been keeping up with their recent stuff ever since A&E, which I didn't like much at all.

Sn2 had great picks for licenses because they had stuff like this mixed in with lesser known music, like Fevah.
I wish they would go back to having song choices like that.
Please everyone, with pop, both masters and remixes, and then also some electronic music.
Is it so hard for Konami to license Daft Punk or Underworld? I'd kill for Two Months Off or Scribble.
Rambling aside, licenses looking good compared to 2010's trash.

I hope that the Selena Gomez & The Scene song is either Naturally, Round & Round, or Shake it Up.

I think they should use SAIFAM for covers instead of the masters. 'Naturally' by Trancemission is really good.

If Willow is in DDR AC in the future, you can expect a lot of people spamming it.
With that being said, someone had to post this:
And for those with a brain here are the lyrics transcribed:

Ehhh, I loved the Wii DDR characters. D8 Are they truly gone? Man, this is so blargh...:/ What is so great about Doubles, anyway, other than the obvious super-hard challenge of it? It looks terribly impracticable and rather silly to use two dance pads at once.

I really hope the B.o.B song they pick is Magic. It has way better stepchart potential than Airplanes.

I don't know why people keep saying that they're gone. I bet anyone that they're still there. If anyone notices, the mainstream DDR characters (oh God, did I say "mainstream?") look softer compared to their AC counterparts. I mean softer because if you look at the edges they have a very subtle, "Wii-esque" look to them. They look almost rounder in comparison. Remember the game is STILL IN BETA and the entire design hasn't even been shown yet. Remember how the background dancers are blacked out? If that isn't an option-able feature, I would just say that they are using it to hide the characters from view or using them as placeholders so they aren't forced to reveal the new Wii/DDR AC characters that they are most definitely hiding.
As for doubles, it's just something that you have to try yourself. Seriously, I didn't get into doubles seriously until I worked at Tilt! the arcade chain. I wanted the challenge and having tried before and failing multiple tries I wanted to get good at it. It's great for a true DDR workout. Trust me. One run of even Afronova Light/Basic DP will get your heart racing. It's also very practical when you wanna make that transition to dedicated DDR playing.

Just wondering, from the video of the DDRII E3 demo below. Is the vocal for Get Back Up Anna Kaelin?
It sounded like her.... and it looks like there is a full version of it too...

I hope to dear gods that you're right. D8

Huh...true, I shouldn't judge a feature I haven't even tried yet. D8

She started with HP and has only played the Wii games.
DOUBLE mode is awesome. It's a real workout, the patterns you can have are more complex and interesting, and there's something really fun about running across both pads.

Sounds like a male vocalist to me, one of the ones from the first HP game.

Ooh La La was in DS Universe 2, and I recall the steps being actually quite good. I'd imagine that if they put that in there'd be a new chart though.Post #220 · Posted at 2011-06-15 09:32:26am 14 years ago

Hey Fairy, you should give it a go when the game comes out. In the arcades I'm OK at it, though I'd be a lot better if it didn't cost me a $1.50 a credit. Unfortunately I don't really have the space for it, though if I did you better believe I'd be playing it. HARD. Anyways, doubles play actually works very well once you get accustomed to the new step patterns it throws at you. Typically doubles offers a completely different take on a song's chart and in some cases it would turn out better than the singles chart. Some were easier, some were much harder.
With this in mind, it almost makes me want them to revive the HP1 and 2 songs that made it in DDRX so we can finally get the doubles charts home. Both Loving You and Will got much better doubles charts than what their singles counterparts were. They made more sense.
