DDR X3 VS 2ndMIX (AC) (Japan)

Those VS. DDR 2nd MiX keeps bothering me. I really hope that it will be great.

U1 has confirmed on his Facebook page that DDR X3 and DDR II will share "some" songs.

My speculations based on nothing more then their current trend:

-about 3 revival licenses.
-new bemani cross overs
-new evolved song
-new jun boss song
-new unlock system
-more whining that it's not DDR Extreme
-2nd mix has nothing do do with the song list, note features introduce in 2nd mix:
*saving high scores on to an external memory card (edits too) (link version)
*step battle mode
*hidden another mode made selectable
*other japanese stuff I can't read

I think 2nd Mix linked together home and AC versions for the first time and strongly promoted vs mode between friends. I would say this mix vs 2nd Mix may try something similar.

Edit: and Asami didn't just say "some" songs as if he stressed some, he just said some songs. He also commented that he didn't want to add a bunch of hard charts to the game as it alienates most of the player base.

And with this, it seems somewhat likely that the DDR 2010 songs are being swept under the carpet. At least, I'd say they're definitely not a shoe-in at this point.

Anyway, I'm not sure the Wii game will made the changes necessary for me to continue to be a fan of the CS games. No EDIT, no DOUBLE, no Challenge, and using the archaic 1-10 scale are points against all the Wii games in my books. I'm interested in what ways it will appeal to the "DDR freak" as U1 said. Challenge difficulty would be a huge, huge step forward, honestly.


Historically, for AC it's 4. X revived 4, X2 revived 4.

I don't know how to edit the site's themes. Is that even possible?

Hover over "Home" on the navigation bar. Then go down to where it says "Themes", click on this and it will take you to the theme menu. Here you can click on the "Custom" option in the left hand side then you can choose the colors you want to set for each element you see in the forums. Blue text on Orange background with a dark theme? You can set it all up from there.

edit: Still can't change the white menu text to black. Only the body text. Oh well, *Switches to the RDA theme* mmm, purple...
