jubeat plus / jukebeat (iOS/Android)

Oh well.

You know. You could always just download Jubeat instead. Not all that difficult. Just sign off of iTunes, switch to Japanese, search and download Jubeat, iTunes will say you need to be logged in, create a new Japanese iTunes account. There are plenty of tutorials that can be Googled. Plenty of DLC with Jubeat.

Or Konami could support a game they released on the US/UK iTunes store.

But guess which will happen first.

I think we all know that's the alternative option. You'd be hard pressed to find an online shop that does not charge a premium for those gift cards...

Konami just likes to give us the middle finger a lot and keep the good stuff in Japan. It sucks but they really need to get it through their heads that they need to support the US/UK as well as Japan.

Current exchange rates:

£1 = $1.59
£1 = ¥123.24

Take the ¥3000 card, for $46.99.

46.99 ÷ 1.59 = £29.55
£29.55 should technically buy me 29.55 x 123.24 yen (¥3641.74)

So basically I'm losing 641.74 yen out of that purchase, £5.21 = 17% of £29.55.

I think I'll pass.

With Reflec Beat plus coming out on Japan soon, I'll just download the app and try the three songs available and I'll just purchase the songs there with a gift card. It will only happen when I have enough money though. But nevertheless, experiencing Reflec Beat will be awesome since we'll never even get one Reflec Beat and play it at the arcade.

Despite the lack of song updates for jukebeat, the experience playing it on the few KONAMI songs is very awesome

I've also noticed that since KONAMI music pack 3,

We got TRUE <3 LOVE from DDR
We got Slang from GFDM
We got NADESHIKO ROCK from pop'n'music

I have a hunch we'll get SigSig next update and hopefully, a song from REFLEC BEAT soon.

It's brilliant that this happened JUST as Apple decided to say "lol no" to Alan's payment system. He's been the main campaigner for stuff to happen, and now it has, he can't get it.
