Improper Foot Ratings

Oh yeah, it feels as if most of the DDRMAX and DDRMAX2 8-footers should be 9-feet (or at least they're high-end 8 feet).

Examples:

Songs that are hard 8's (12 or 13 on new scale):

-Bye Bye Baby Balloon
-Do You Remember Me
-Ghosts (Vincent De Moor Remix)
-Lovin' You (Rob Searle Club Mix)
-My Sweet Darlin'
-Witch Doctor (Giants Toons Version)
-Yozora No Muko

Songs that are average 8's (11's on new scale):

-Candy
-Cow Girl
-I'm In The Mood for Dancing
-Midnight Blaze
-Nori Nori Nori

Songs that are easy 8's (10 or 9 on new scale):

-Groove
True... (Trance Sunrise Mix)

Just what I think.

I think the expert foot ratings for the two megamixes in Hottest Party 3 were kind of messed up. The're both 10-footers, but the only thing that seems to make them 10-footers were the boss songs that were on the end of each megamix. But, every other song in the megamixes were rated overall 5-9 (excluding the boss songs). So, I think they should be rated a high 9.

Really? I always thought of it being a rather average 7. I don't see what makes it an 8.

Tbh, imo, it feels a bit too difficult to be a 7. It might only be because of the brisk tempo though.

Does everything else look correct to you? :O

MY SWEET DARLIN' and NORI NORI NORI are (IMO) easy 8's when compared to the rest of the list. I find those two easier than Midnite Blaze and COW GIRL.

I feel that the chalenge chart for Freeway Shuffle is an 11, also, Horatio seems too intimidating for a 15. What do you guys think?

Horatio is just a stamina drainer, and has very little technical difficulty, so it definitely should not be higher than a 15.

Yeah, I agree with everything else. That was the only one I really disagreed with.

I'd even go so far as to say that Horatio S-Heavy is a 14, and the S-Oni is the 15 if only for the awful Shock Arrows.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 15 on the new scale = 10 on the old scale? Because I would say Horatio is basically a less technical version of Outer Limits, which is a 10.

I think Horatio is in between a 14 and a 15. But I think it's rated a 15 because of the end?
Edit: Yes, 10's are 15's on the new scale.

Except Unreal and Paranoia Hades. Those were 9's but 15 on new scale (well, not sure about PHades).

Hmm... some songs from Universe 3 (especially the Oni charts) seemed a bit... off. I thought Doki Doki (panic mix) should have been a 10 because of the trills.

I think Doki Doki (panik mix) is a 10, but a low 10.
Concertino in Blue isn't a 10, it's a 9.

Oh, and Akibariffic is too easy for a 10.

Akibariffic could have been a 10 if it was 150+ bpm, but since the bpm is so slow it's a bit easier. It's a 9.
A lot of the Uni3 charts are 9-10.

Actually, I find Concertino In Blue about as draining as Roppongi EVOLVED, though it's easier than MAX 300, so who knows? I think it earned its ten, but if I rated it new scale, I might be torn between 15 and 14. The chart is very comfortably a ten, though.

Akibarrific is a little too easy for an old-scale ten, agreed, but I'd give it a 14 new scale.

As for Paranoia Hades? Yeah, they royally underrated those charts on the old scale...I even struggle with the chart for it. "8-footer", indeed...

Arrabiatta was awfully evil for a nine, too, though I acknowledge that Konami corrected that with the new rating system. I still might say the chart borders on a 14, though.

I'd agree on a 13-14 rating for the difficult chart. I remember playing Pluto one day, passing it with a B, then another day failing Arrabiatta >.< and Paranoia Hades is a 15, I don't care what anyone else says.

While we're on the subject of Akibarrific, the doubles is most certainly not a 10 - it's about a 13 new scale, or maybe even a 12. There's just not that much going on.
