I bought Duck Sauce's Quack on CD last week. I mainly bought it because it had "aNYway" and the music video cut of "Barbra Streisand", but nonetheless it's a decent album to listen to all the way through.

UPDATE: Those headphones I bought previously, I returned a week or so later because I didn't switch over to them from my other listening devices, but I'll be buying a set again after the holidays, along with a set of Skullcandy Titan Earbuds...

I heard a leak of the new album coming out in January, and eh... I kinda like it, but not as much as earlier stuff. It's a marginal pass for me. Anyway, I got the Best Buy exclusive CD-Single that has two of the songs on it. I got it mainly because it was cheap, so there's that...

I really wasn't expecting HU Breaks to arrive today, and a copy of Theory of Revolution arriving with it. I picked up Settle at Target yesterday.

New headphones + earbuds!



I think this set of HESH 2s might be the same set I bought previously, like the SAME ACTUAL PHYSICAL SET. I also got the Skullcandy Titans because that was my plan for when I could afford it.

So I got Nakamich iHeadphones NK780M. They have worked pretty fine so I bought PINK POPS along with that.

I regret absolutely nothing.

I got another new set of earbuds...



After opening and using the Skullcandy HESH 2 headphones for a bit, I felt a bit of a letdown. The sound wasn't as sharp and the bass wasn't as strong as I expected, considering the price I paid for them. The sound wasn't terrible, but I just don't think they're as powerful all around as I was expecting. I think the Titan earbuds are fine though, but I saw this other up-and-coming brand and felt like seeing what they were like. So far, the bass has a strong showing and they sound pretty clear, and I've only used a few web-streams so far. I'll probably look into trying out a set of Bell'o Digital headphones in the future.

I went to a Savers because I was bored one day and bought 3 CDs.

I don't know why I do the things I do.

I have some serious purchases coming soon, if CDJapan cooperates with my budget.

I got a Sony Walkman A17 "Hi Res" player. I really didn't need all of the extra stuff that was on my old iPod touch and it was running out of space so I went with something simpler. 64 gb and I have an extra 32gb microSD card inside it. Sound quality is great.

Marilyn Manson - THE PALE EMPEROR (Deluxe Edition)



Even though this album isn't something I'm completely and overwhelmingly enthused about, it's one I've been coming back to and listening to over and over, so I felt that, in the interest of "doing the right thing", I should actually own it, since it was officially released today (finally). I bought two copies and sent one to a friend who's going through some financial issues. They offered to pay me back, but I said they were under no obligation and that it was a gift, but even still, they might send me something back, which is, I suppose, alright if they really want to.

The disc for the deluxe version is black on both the label and data sides, the data side looking much like the old PSX game discs. I think the label side has a Thermochrome layer that reveals something printed underneath it, which I'm going to check in the coming days. I thought the package would be a simple four panel card case like a digipak without a tray, but it's actually an eight panel foldout thing. The standard version was just a normal CD in a normal jewel case with a booklet and traycard. I might get that as well, maybe, but most likely not immediately.

Went to the local flea market and managed to pick up 7 CDs for $1 each:

I got an old 2-disc trance compilation from 2005. You might recognize some tracks maybe?

I got it for $4.37 after tax, not bad for a 2-disc set.

By the way, that last title on disc 2's listing is just "Substance", no subtitle or anything. Some of the other tracks throughout the compilation have subtitles in the accompanying insert sheet.

On a side note (for anyone who cares), I currently no longer own any of the previous CDs I've posted about prior to this post. This compilation is currently the only set of discs I own, as I frequently trade/resell/donate CDs after I've ripped them.

Christ, 9PM (Til I Come)! I haven't heard that one in YEARS.

Literally in the last 20 minutes bought Prodigy's The Day Is My Enemy (with a bonus free remix LP). I'll let you know how that comes on.

UPDATE: I got two of my three orders in today!



The DDR OST is a version from Sonmay Records, according to the info on the back, so it might be a bootleg copy, or it might just be localized for distribution in Hong Kong or something? Either way, not complaining in the least, I got what I ordered, so I'm happy!
