I prefer Mitsuhiko Izumi rock style than Unreal, Linkin' Park rock style. Day Dream is the Brutalest rock song i ever heard ( I like that rock style), but maybe next DD series more brutal than Day Dream. Jet World, Fire are nice rock songs too.

same as piepiepie for me.
The Reason was kind of bad. Unreal was awesome.
I have the same views...
Except switch The Reason and Unreal.

What? The Reason not only sounded worlds better, but its steps were amazing.

The stepchart for THE REASON is much better than Unreal's "concert" style stepchart (You know? Lots of jumping?) but Unreal just sounds way better to me. It felt much more active and I find myself belting out the lyrics occasionally.
DDR HP had something that said that Lea Drop and Black Rose Garden are one and the same.

Eh, while I love THE REASON as a song, the steps were too weak for a 9, and the forced yellow arrow syndrome is class A crap. I hate blue/yellow/green arrow syndrome. It's garbage and there is no excuse for it. It's sloppy step chart writing.

I thought both of Unreal and THE REASON were awesome. Every Day, Every NIght was really different to the both, and I couldn't really appreciate it. :-/
And was Lea Drop on vocals for Unreal and The Reason, or was he just music producer? Did it say in the HP1 OST?

I'm excited because of 鏡花水月楼 (DDR EDITION)
I didn't expected to see it in this game.

Any old songs from previous DDR on DDR HP2? Or all new songs like DDR HP1 before?

No, please research before posting. Only Lesson by DJ is from HP1.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lesson by DJ was just on the demo for... well, demo purposes.

I started 10s on stealth and had to work my way up to 1 footers.
Seriously though, why are all the licenses < 6 steps? The great part about the first HP was the fact that it was one of the few recent DDR releases with 9 step licenses.

I guess sometimes it's just hard to make a licence intentionally difficult. There is only so much you can do with a song before it becomes difficult for difficulties sake. I'd rather the steps fit then feel off whenever that means it's been made too easy, or too hard.

I think it's mostly a matter of being able to know where your body is. I took one look at the mat, and didn't have to look down at it again, because I knew where the arrows were. Same thing with staying off the center. I didn't need to stay on the center to hit the right arrows, and I only had to be told not to return to the center once.
That being said, working up the coordination, balance, and stamina for 9s still took several months.

I took me 4 months to hit nines once I my friends got the game. Before that, I played it once, and I beat crash light my first song. XD
