Shouldn't we be ranking the files in the opposite group from us? I'd be slightly worried about people distributing their points in a way that would favor their own files.

Apparently the auto ZIP for my Hot Summer file never updated even though my revised .sm/.ssc files were uploaded way before the deadline. So the version in the pack is outdated and still has that weird bug.

As there's no way of knowing what everyone voted for, there's no real way for you to tell how your votes would affect the leaderboard. And like Quick said, if you wanted to you could try that normally anyway. If you attempt to do this and it's obvious I'll know, and when the full votes are revealed everyone else will know. Pretty much going on the honor system.

I ran an update. If anyone has problems with their file that are not due to human error on your part let me know, I can update it. It just takes a while to reupload, and the original version remains up until the new one replaces it.

Only the votes for the group you're in will count. You can post how you would've voted at the end of the week if you want though.

You will only be voting officially for your group. That's not to say you can't show support or give feedback for songs in the other group.

Not really sure what you mean, but if you mean bars as guidelines in the editor, then 4 red arrows and 4 bars, yes. The length is equivalent to a typical measure in a song.


Yes; any chart from any BEMANI game old/new, dead/alive is up for referencing. Dancemania songs that haven't showed up in any BEMANI game can also be selected for the song.

Can we use remixes of BEMANI songs that have not made an appearance in a BEMANI game yet?

Not to be nit-picky or anything, but do console exclusive songs count as BEMANI songs? [For example, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, in DDR Hottest Party 4 (wii) and DDR 2010 (PS3)]

In this case, since I'm Yours is a license, it's acceptable as a song choice. But if you were to pick, say, I'm Flying Away from Hottest Party, that would be prohibited since it was specifically made for the game. Console releases and console exclusive songs are counted as BEMANI.

I need some calcification on the new week challenge. So, let's say I wanted to take Mickey Mouse March from Para Para Paradise could I use a remixed Mickey Mouse March song and reference the chart for 4 bars and be good to go?
