Kobayan left out a spin on HVAM doubles. m9, he does the swing around technique with his feet instead of spinning. And I completely understand why. It's so much easier to swing around than to doublestep.
Also, I hate m5. So awkward.

The good: I have never had any food at Dave & Buster's that was anything less than awesome and today was no exception. Chicken alfredo, half of which came home with me in a box, to be eaten for lunch tomorrow, and oh God the chocolate fondue, it comes with all kinds of things to dip in it like strawberries and graham crackers and marshmallows and banana slices and cubes of pound cake and mini-brownies, oh man, the fruit got devoured pretty fast but four brownie hunks survived and came home with me as well.

The not so good: where I was hoping to find a DDR machine of some sort, there was PIU NX. I am not dissing PIU, it's just that I have never even seen a PIU machine in person, let alone played one. But I figured I'd at least give it a try. I'd love to get to know it better, but as it was I couldn't get used to it in the short time I played, and mostly I just embarrassed myself for a while. And then when I decided to come back and give it another try, there was some d-bag on it who didn't seem to notice or care about the line of people (a short line, but still a line) who wanted to play and would not get the hell off to let someone else have a turn. I know he was on that machine for a solid hour at least. DANCE GAME ETIQUETTE, SIR, LEARN YOU SOME.

So I'll probably go back to Incredible Pizza next weekend to get my arcade fix.

I was like that when I played PIU 1st time too. I did FPC Beethoven Virus 1st try on easy or whatever it's called. I couldn’t find out speed mods witch really screws with me on 1X. Once you know how everything works, PIU is not too bad. I’d still put DDR & ITG over it, but that’s me. Sucks some one was being a dance hog.

So may finally play some DDR/ITG Tuesday after weeks of sickness and "Injury".

Pump It Up. Korean 5-panel dance game. I've only ever played it on holiday back in August 2008, and I'm still addicted.

Anyway, finally got round to listening to the full version of Scorpion Fire. Totally wasn't expecting that middle. *sniff* I think I've got something in my eye... And the entire piece is making my hair stand on end from the awesome.

There are codes you have to step before you select the song. Mostly, they're on the side of the machine.

The only other time I've played PIU was at a pizza place having Exceed 2. they have all the mod codes on the machine witch helps me a lot. Anyone notice that PIU pads work WAY better then DDR pads?

I have notice that. They are WAAAY more responsive than DDR pads. I got better score on PIU because of that and i only play on lvl. 6 or 7. I can't remember that was a year ago..

Good news: I'm going to A-Kon 20 and (hopefully) cosplaying as a couple of Pop'n characters while I'm there.

Bad news: I have to drive about twenty hours to get there. Plus, to accurately look the part of one of the characters I want to cosplay as, I'll have to shave my mustache.

Or because the Perfect windows are large enough to drive a truck through. I can only play one lvl.8 song, and I've Full Perfected it twice in a row.

Yeah, I'd kind of like to see if there's somewhere with a PIU machine of some sort within my bicycling range, but man, I was really hoping to spend the afternoon on a DDR machine of some sort yesterday. There's another Dave & Buster's on the other side of Houston, though. I'll have to call and see what they have.

In other news, it is so nice to finally have a cell phone that is not hella old and decrepit and that I can actually put my own ringtones on. Now mine will play Pluto Relinquish when someone calls. Can't pass it on anything but Beginner, but hot damn I can put it on my phone.

People keep calling me and it annoying me because I'm trying to enjoy my last day off of school. I'm going to go crazy if i hear Shinin' by Mondo Grosso one more time or if i hear the Veronicas again. lol

Today was my final day at school...

...if i show up from here on out, i have to go to the Main Office, get a visitors pass, and go to where i need to go, if they catch me roaming around the school with nothing to do EVEN with a visitors pass, they can arrest me for trespassing...
