Co-worker of mine stops in the hall to look over one of the motivations posters/pictures strung around the place. Has to do with Teamwork and whatnot. Shows a picture of a chain with mentions of how the combined strength of everyone blah blah blah. He then says 'well, if they're using a chain doesn't that refer to the weakest link' and I make the mention that it also uses a rusty chain too. And he goes 'why would they do that'.

And quick thinking made me go 'because it's iron...y'.

Level 10 Nerdism attack right there.

1.) The letter "e" doesn't read well with the color it has and the lighting behind it.
2.) I thought it was an "l". It only occurred to me that it was supposed to be "Nauts" because the other graphic said it. For the same reason above, it was was to read the letter.
3.) This feels out of place. The design of the bench/box has to either change or it should be replaced.
4.) The further light post looks good, and the one nearest to us look just...centered. The reason it looked good in the original source is because it was in a rectangular format where it would have been placed like the further post highlighted would be (good spot). Reason it bothers me is because you add text on top of it. It just disrupts.

-The text here is better than the other one, but still needs work.
-Beware tangent lines.

Append: A mix of both compositions you had up there would be your best bet.

Wow, I actually didn't notice that you made an edit. Thank you for that! I'll see what I can do, taking your advice into account.

EDIT: I decided to take a simpler approach and a different font with this pic. It does look cleaner than the first ones. Still kinda divided with the composer text placement, though.



Then Aegis gave some more tips on how to improve this pic, and I came up with another two. Thanks, Aegis! I personally prefer the left one because it's a bit more centered and looks better in general.
