Gives you an idea of what happened. Basically the hard drive broke the connector as seen here. I had to re-align the power connector pins that are on the left side because they were all bent out of shape. I put the connector back on temporarily to align with a power connector for a long enough time to do the transfer.
Good news is the drive transfer went well on both drives. 100% on one, missing three replaceable files on the VIDEO drive. VIDEO drive has almost 2000 bad sectors.

VIDEO hard drive posted a catastrophic failure last night. I was pulling the drive this morning to bring into the office to do data transfer on it. When I pulled the drive, one of the legs that allows the drive to easily slide in and out broke and the drive fell on the drive below it. Unfortunately, the drive is crashed into was the OS drive and it broke the power and part of the data connector off. I've got both drive in the office and I'm replacing the boot drive right now by doing a raw data transfer of everything on the original boot drive to it. From there, I'm going to see if I can do recovery of the VIDEO drive to the other half of the drive that I'll have open (my boot drive only had 500GB, it will now have 1TB and 500GB free space, so I'll use that to attempt a recovery).
All told, expensive, 100 dollar or so morning.

Lucky not much damage was done. I would have freaked out if that happen to me.
On the flip side, I've blocked my roommates on Facebook because I'm just going to no sell their shit and piss them off that way.

I did freak out. I think I said 'what the crusty fucking bloody christ' at it. I had only been up for 30 minutes at that point on my way to work when I saw it.

so my friend is on the skype call with me and he's acting like he's really high. he's not laughing. he's not joking. he is actually acting like this. i think it's his meds or something i'm genuinely terrified for him

Titanfall PC's 48GB install the result of uncompressed audio
35 gigabytes out of 48 is all uncompressed audio. Not sure if this is a good tradeoff for those with small HDDs.
Still much better optimized than that shitty-ass CoD: Ghosts on PC.
