I ended up spending the last of my non-savings money on a PS3... and as a result didn't get to buy Hatsune Miku Project Diva F ;~;
Gotta go to Gamestop later and pick that up because the demo is so good.

I ran an 18 mile race this morning and timed myself to see how long it would take me. I finished after 2 hours and 43 minutes and 49 seconds (2:43:49). According to RaceWire, the company managing the racing bibs, I finished at 2:54:17. I don't get how this is possible seeing that I crossed the finish line when the official timer said 2:47:xx. WTH?!?!

Once again I feel like I've failed an exam and I'm now insanely depressed about it. It's just getting worse and worse and I'm the point that suicidal thoughts have started up. I'm down right afraid of the chance of a likely failure on my behalf. I feel like there's nothing more I can do and no one I can talk to.

It's just an exam.
The consequences might be a cut on money from scholarships or something of that nature at most, but never should this cross the line to want to think up of suicidal thoughts.

Sometimes we learn more from failure. It may not look like it at first, but maybe it is a wake up call to put more effort and sacrifice some more time for your craft or studies. Seek help from friends or teachers if you must.

If you fail the course or another exam, then know the world won't end. We all aren't sometimes capable of doing one thing or another. Just try harder next time, put more thought into this.

For every 3 hours or studying or practicing, have 1 hour to relax. Set up some kind of dedication and care. Eliminate distractions.

I've failed a college exam here and there. Still graduated from college. In the long run you'll forget all about it and it wont impact your life whatsoever, as long as you do well for the most part.

You guys are not getting this is not just because of one exam. This has been an on going problem that gets worse and worse. It's not like I'm not trying, I'm doing just about every damn thing I can do at this point. My fear is that I get so bad about it that I'll put myself and others in danger.

Hmm, is it some kind of group exam.

For me, I've failed some exams, stopped coming to classes which caused me to fail a subject (and made my dear mother disappointed at me) and at times had an "I just don't care anymore" mentality for some of the subjects I took up on college. And nearly got dropped of the List of Graduating Students because I didn't want to show my face at my internship job (where after making a bad call, I turned everyone except for one girl against me) since I had put off processing my papers and reports for my internship.

I still graduated anyway.

APPEND: Not saying you shouldn't care and have a laid-back attitude about this. Maybe you should shift a little more of your focus into studying if you find yourself in this situation more than twice or thrice.

I'm sure your intentions were good, but that is actually one of the worst things you can say to someone who is struggling with depression.

It's not as easy as "just being happy". You can't just "be happy" while you feel like your life is metaphorically kicking you in the dick repeatedly. Sure, you can find coping mechanisms that can make it easier to get through, but the problems are not going to go away if you just force yourself to be happy.

Pandy, the best advice I can give is that suicide is not the answer. Suicide is NEVER the answer. Believe me, I've been in that same sort of position before. Go find someone to talk to who understands your problems, whether it's a family member, a close friend, or a therapist, or whatever. Talk to them. Do not bottle feelings up, because that'll just make it significantly worse. It may not completely solve the problem, but at the very least, someone else will know what's troubling you, and they might be able to help.

It's only been two hours, and today is already made. I'm an uncle now.
