My mom got my friend's kid a PS4.
I guess it's a good thing that I didn't want one anyway.

I got some gift cards and candy and stuff.
The best thing was hanging out with family and friends.

Yeah, Eddie made a post about it on the Facebook page, keeping the site running on the backup server was pretty much costing him a bit, even with the (few) members that frequented the site, there really was no point in keeping that site up while there being no real form of change to the site and all.

The whole post can be found here on their tumblr page (which coincidentally is actually where the site redirects to when trying to link to it as far as I can tell).

Sucks to be honest, while this site has a bit more international flavor to it (along with an arcade locator, simfile database, arcade score database, and more), bemanistyle has been around since god knows how long (2005? Don't really know), they pretty much started the US BEMANI scene back in the day.

Heh, seems like there is now only this site, AIJ, and that 'new' site that popped up recently.

The only worthwhile I got for christmas is a 2000 point card for Nintendo Wii* (it's actually a Nintendo DS point card with a "Compatible with Wii" sticker which didn't look like something Nintendo would print.). It worked, but I don't know exactly what to buy. I want to buy Megaman 10 but everyone would just say "Why would you buy a Wii to play NES games?", like they did when I bought Castlevania: Rondo of Blood from the Shop Channel. Any suggestions, preferably not a game that has a PC Port. And good regular Wii games are either scarce or expensive, even an Extra Wii Remote Plus is about as expensive as a slightly good game, just because they have the Wii U packaging.

*Bought with my own money, since nobody gives me money I can use to buy games anymore, and people will tell me that I am an ungrateful little prick who doesn't have a family, expenses, etc. to take care of to warrant such money.

Bemanistyle back in its prime was THE place to go. I still remember getting pretty much every simfile possible on that site. I know Bemanistyle had it's hardships the last few years but I was hoping that it could have bounced back to the epic website it once was. We had some fun times Bemanistyle, you will be missed.
