EDIT: Food for thought.... the article mentions him playing DDR at a movie theater. There are two movie theaters that have DDR within a short driving distance of Newtown, Connecticut. The AMC Loews in Dabury and the Regal Cinemas at the Brass Mill Center in Waterbury. The Danbury AMC is the closer of the two. While it's possible that he could have just stumbled upon it going to that theater one day without the help of a machine database, most people find out about DDR machines through either DDR Freaks' listing (which is still up but hardly ever updated anymore) or the more current one here.

Black Friday is coming up soon, on the 29th.


Black Friday is entirely pointless. It makes shoppers go crazy. I saw pictures of people with two shopping carts, people camping on Best Buy 5 days before Black Friday, the entrance looks like a concert entrance, and really, it's easier to spend more over a certain period of time. Also, it's preventing workers from having a thanksgiving with their family. If they don't work, they get fired. Like really? I don't think people should celebrate this "holiday". I sure won't anytime soon.

Black Friday has always been completely stupid. Only made worse by the fact that some places start "Black Friday" at 4:00 pm on Thanksgiving Thursday.

Because, you know, nothing says "I love my family and I am thankful for them" by rushing to the store to save $100 on a TV you could get any other day of the year.

To be honest, I never heard of the whole Black Friday thing until a few years ago. I don't think it really caught on in Canada because the crowds this day draws couldn't hold a candle to what it's like in the US. It kind of sprang up overnight and stores were trying to make a big deal about it.
That and sales have never been that substantial. The good sales gravitated towards expensive items like TVs, home theatre sets, and the like with everything else got the short end of the stick. So stuff like games, movies, and whatnot never really got any deductions worth waiting in line for.
