My fiancée broke up with me.

The one light my life had has pretty much been blown out.
Ouch. I'm really sorry to hear that. Sad

Ah, so you play Guitar Hero huh, well I used to play a Hero game (DJ Hero), I wouldn't consider myself a professional player in the game but I was damn good at it. Sucks that both games got shelved though......

.....or have they?

DJ Hero was popular for three months, then it became disregarded as though it never existed. Guitar Hero went on for a tad longer. People went crazy when Chris full combo'd TTFAF; that feat alone made the game very prominent during '08. I would say the game died in March 2010, way before the release of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. People still play this game, but the community just isn't the same. This website is the equivalent of ScoreHero, a website solely based for Guitar Hero. In terms of the people that actually use the forums, I would say 80% of the community left during 2010. To this day, less than 2% of those people remain. To answer your question, these games got shelved over three years ago.

Guitar Hero was pretty much ran to the ground and Rock Band was just the better all around game. DJ Hero I felt like they were just getting on the right track right when the plug was pulled. I'd love to see DJ Hero get a 2nd chance because I think that game still has potential to be something good but I honestly don't think we'll see a DJ Hero 3.

It's funny, Scorehero's site is down, they are saying they are moving their servers and all, but I don't know, there has been a severe lack in activity from that site. We will see if FreeStyleGames has what it takes to try and bring back Guitar Hero into the now modern age of gaming, although they would have to pull some crazy shit that neither Rock Band nor Rocksmith has done yet to really rally in the older community and bring in new players along for the ride.

As far as for me, I thought DJ Hero was exceptionally well-recieved, the price tag though was a different story, hence why not a shole ton of people even bothered with getting the bundled versions for it. I felt the game was stuck in some rhythm gaming limbo of sorts, where GH was raining supreme/losing it's flare, it came into the market at a bad time. If Guitar Hero was put off for one year and allowed DJ Hero to come out, I think the response would have been more widespread, instead the outcome was as most everyone was expecting it to turn out due to so many games of the same franchise being released. It really sucks, and I sure as hell hope that sometime in the future we could see a revival of these games again, but as we've come to know, that just doesn't seem to be the case anymore in this day and age.

So I found a way to stream iOS games (including Reflec Beat, Jukebeat, and Rerave) to a PC using Airplay: http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector

In my testing on wifi, I have noticed a fairly minimal amount of lag; it's noticeable, but at least on Rerave you don't really have to adjust your play. Bluetooth is very noticeably laggy so don't use it, and Airplay apparently can't use a wired connection to a PC. It works with OBS's game capture, so you can stream games to Twitch once they're added to the database.

I bet if they renamed it, Konami could (try to) release SDVX in the US.
I mean, the controller would obviously be a lot cheaper and easier to make than the arcade ones. And who knows, if Konami got their hands on some popular licenses, then we might have ourselves a bestseller.

Or not, considering Konami has made really dumb decisions over the past couple years. ESPECIALLY in countries other than Japan.

There's your answer.

Besides, SDVX is out in the US. Not legally of course, and you can actually get an ASC from here. You just have to be very lucky. It takes the fans to do Konami's job sometimes, but it works.

want pls

I'll assume you're talking about emulators. Although I have been looking for the ASC's for a while.

No, no emulators, I am talking about legit SDVX. That's probably why there are real ASC's for the game out there now. My friend is trying to get one, but like I said, you have to be lucky to even be considered of getting one.
