... I wonder if silenttype ever got that puzzle done.

I finished that within a month. Just add one week to the last picture I uploaded of that puzzle. It's just been sitting there collecting dust. I can't find a frame for the size of the puzzle, so I haven't bothered to take a picture of it yet.

I have a Boston sports legends puzzle. I think it's still intact somewhere. Maybe I'll take a picture of it or something sometime soon.

To silenttype's risky post, I am, when I was 12.
It's now fiesta time here, guys carrying musical instruments have been knocking on my doorstep today. And a group of gays (part of some kind of a parade) handed me an envelope, said that if I put money in it, they'd eat fire right in front of me later (on the streets, it's NOT a private show, or something that's supposed to arouse me).

Ok, gotta plan someday to go there...
Thankfully my grandma is here (who is visiting from Colombia) so i can probably ask my mom to see if we can go over there to play some "mini-golf" and while we are over there i can give the machine a try

You were trimmed when you were 12?! That must have hurt.

silenttype: They administer an anesthesia before it begins (I don't have to elaborate). Then you'd only feel slight pain, then cover it with some cloth after the operation that you have to wear for 3 days. It's a philippine tradition so it's normal to get done with it at 10-12 and not a few days after birth. Also haha on the "if they eat glass" thing.
Some nagging woman just tried selling laundry soap to me. Something that my mom will love, that she'll never need bleach again, blah blah blah.

A slight pain? Are you sure it was only slight? I would be freaking out if I saw that some one was about to cut through my no-no parts.
From time to time I would get some stranger knocking on my door selling some flan.

And everytime I deny the offer, I have to remind him that the syrup is dripping from the container.
People are weird. They can't really think of anything good to sell anymore.
.... want some flan now.

It only hurt in the near end. And when I got out of the hospital, that's when the pain returned. It's a shame I didn't look at it while I was being operated, but then again, there's a nurse in the room, and I had to act like a man whenever she asked me if it hurts (the one operating is male).
We make flan sometimes (made from condensed milk and egg whites, caramel made from brown suger). If that's how they look when you want to buy one, you're getting ripped off. We make them oval-shaped and bigger.

oh no, they're pretty big and my mom makes them in different shapes. I just added that picture so people would know what a flan is.
You'd be surprised at the amount of people that do not know of that deliciousness. (the flan, not the surgery)

Very sweet and enjoyed at parties or whenever there is big feast. And it's my sis who helps in making them for those kinds of occasions.

"I'm honestly pissed off." |
I am dead serious. No exaggeration, no joking. I nearly passed out because of something I read a little while ago.
I was reading this horror story.
A bit into it, I thought, "This is horrorific, I should stop. But I want to know how it ends."
So I kept reading.
Then a bit after that, the world started going dark.
I got black sparkles all over my vision and collapsed onto my back.
I concentrated on breathing for a bit, then sat back up.
I still wanted to know how it ended, so I read a bit more.
Everything went dark suddenly and I fell over again.
So I concentrated on breathing until the light came back.
When I could sit up again, I closed the tab so I wouldn't be tempted to start reading again.
At that point, I decided to post on the forum that linked to the story, saying what had just happened.
There was still a black fog over my vision, and it was hard to control my fingers for typing.
I had to concentrate and lean in to see the mouse cursor so that I could click the "Submit" button.
After posting, I decided to try to walk it off. Once on my feet, I could barely stagger around, but it did help a little.
I leaned against the wall and took a few steps a few times, then sat back down.
All told, it probably took 10 minutes for the effects to wear off, and I still feel a bit unsteady now, nearly 30 minutes later.
Scary.
Don't forget to breathe when you're reading.
No, I will not tell you what I was reading that made this happen. Suffice it to say that it was horrific, and several minutes of reading long.

Sounds a bit like how Jun acted when "Hades" forced her to make a song for him. I'm not into horror novels/stories right now, so I'm not really interested.

From time to time (usually Saturday) I'd get a couple of Jehovah's witnesses knocking on my door asking me "Have you found Jesus?"However, I'd kill for some flan, even at 1am.

That can be arranged. I can get you a target and two flans if you're up for it.

I forgot about those. Sometimes Iglesia ni Cristo (Something of Christ, dunno what Iglesia means) members would knock on my door and tell me to read a passage in their handouts. My dad thinks they are just there to waste time since the last time they were here, their just a minute turned into 15 minutes and my dad had to call them off so I could prepare for school.
But they might be true when they said that "With us, your trip to heaven is guaranteed." since minor vices like gambling and illegal drinking are prohibited as well as missing even one mass in the parish (my classmate who's an Iglesia said they'll knock on your doorstep and demand why you didn't show up in the mass).

At least you (and I) do not have to go to church every Sunday (lazy). but I kinda miss the mass since I was enrolled in a catholic private school for 10 years (grade 1-6 and 1st-4th year).
