So I found out a HUGE freaking arcade is going to be opening up this Fall about 10 minutes from where I use to live. Of all the dirty tricks God has played on me, this one is up their.

Some fancy, highly promoted arcade opened up about 30 minutes away from my house. It is indeed really nice looking and all the games are new and it's loads more appealing looking than any broken-down arcade in the city.
Buuuuut there's no DDR. Cocky people bragging about 100 games when I only counted like 50 excluding copies and no DDR or classic games on top of that. :P Going back to the crusty games.

Um. Moral is just that sometimes arcades are all talk, I guess. Don't suppose you're in driving distance from the new arcade to scout it out...?

There's another location that has the same name about an hour south and they have DDR SN1, ITG2, Pump It Up Fiesta EX, and an old ass 5 key beatmania machine. My guess will be it's very likely.

Okay I'm sorry, but I gotta step in here.

Not only does California have something pretty much near exactly along the lines as Cedar Point, it actually surpasses it. Magic Mountain next year will continue to have the lead for most coasters in one park after they add that new kiddie coaster. To be honest, other than a few neat coasters (Maverick, Gemini, Blue Streak), Cedar Point's collection is for the most part overrated. Millennium Force is forceless and drawn out, Gatekeeper is just the latest in the line of recent B&M bore-fests, and the rest aren't anything really to write home about.

Even apart from Magic Mountain, in socal you've got Knotts, Universal, Disney, and now even Sea World getting into the coaster business. Up in norcal it's been pretty great too, as Great America just added a world class top 10 wooden coaster this year, and Discovery Kingdom put in that weird Superman launcher last year.

Consider yourself lucky to be a coaster fan in CA.

Apparently, the DDR wiki is closed down. I'm wondering why.....

It's closed because last month I reported it to Wikia for infringing on remywiki. I never thought they'd respond that soon; I'm amazed.

Was that the wiki you-know-who was taking care of?

It was a mess, and the information inside was just either cinstructed poorly or salvaged together from other parts of the internet.

Fun Fact: The the admin tried to make Rage part of the background, and the wiki icon, and say Rage is underrated. Luckily it only lasted like two days.

I'm so hecking sick of this person. There is absolutely no point behind creating a wiki for DDR when all it does is copy from Wikipedia and remywiki. The only reason he made it is because he's a whiny obsessive control freak.

He didn't make the wiki though. Someone else made the wiki and he got upset about its "lack of data", so he requested to become a mod, and subsequently became the leader of the wiki itself.
Still doesn't change the fact that he's a "whiny obsessive control freak".

Does anybody know any good Wii DDR pads? I'm tired of using the one that came with the game. Preferably <$50, because all I need is a foam one.

If you can still find a RedOctane Ignition 5.0 somewhere (eBay or Craigslist), I'd recommend that. I've had mine for quite a while and it still works great.
