Oh my gosh, you are so damn lucky. I love it there! I wish i lived there tho so i can keep going.... stupid california... California needs something like cedar point. I went on the 4th of july this year and it rained a lot.... on and off. When it rains, they have to close the rollercoasters. after the first time, it rained, we ran to the dragster to see the line and it only took us 45 minutes to get on the ride the wait that day was over 3 hours so we got lucky!

Sorry for the late reply, I was at a concert and my phone doesn't get reception at the venue. Here's some stuff I can recommend...

Girls Bravo: This one is really off-the-wall and silly. Lots of sexual innuendos and such. It is pretty hilarious, though.

Negima! - I still haven't finished this one yet, but I really enjoy what I've seen of it so far. Pretty good balance of silliness and more serious stuff.

Shakugan no Shana - I've still only seen the first series (I'll get to the others soon), but I highly recommend it. It starts off a little bit slow, but really picks up after a couple episodes.

Elfen Lied - One of my personal favorites. Very, very violent , but there are also plenty of heartwarming, touching moments. The last couple episodes brought me to tears. Only issue I really have with it is that it's only 13 episodes.

Squid Girl - I actually bought this on DVD on a whim not knowing what to expect, at all. It's pretty silly. A lot of people seem to have issues with all of the sea/squid puns, but I personally think it's hilarious.

Chobits - This was actually the first anime series I watched all the way through. Definitely a favorite of mine. Really good balance of humor and more serious parts. Highly recommended.

Definitely recommend Squid Girl.

Anyways, my birthday wasn't too long ago (the 26th of this month) and I celebrated it on Saturday. When it came time for presents, my older brother said that he was going to pay for my weekend pass to MAGFest 2014. For those that do not know what MAGFest is, get yourself educated. Not only that, it's also home to one of the biggest game rooms on the East Coast (PAX East could be bigger but I've yet to see their game room) with TONS of console, arcade, and tabletop gaming. BEMANI Invasion is pretty much always there, so that means I'll get a chance to play X3, tricoro, Pop N' music, GF/DM (maybe GITADORA?), and other machines. So if anyone of you guys are going to be heading to Baltimore for this event this coming January, hit me up. ZIv Party until we max300

Story Time!!!

So today at work, I decided to take my iPad with me to have something to pass the time while I was on break instead of having to eat the food over there (it's not that it's disgusting or anything, I am just trying not to eat fast food stuff anymore), so it's my break time, I get my iPad, plug in my headphones and I start playing Jukebeat. After playing Albida on EXT and before choosing my next song, my manager for the night along with the assistant manager come over to me to ask me what the hell I was doing. I then told them 'Uuuhhhh, it's a game, called Jukebeat.' And so I play ALL MY HEART on EXT to show them and explain what it is (I described it like a whack-a-mole on steroids game). They were SO IMPRESSED lol, so then my assistant manager asks to see what was the hardest song I could do (or rather something really hard) so I picked Beastie Starter on EXT. Once again, highly impressed. It got to a point where my other co-workers actually came over to see what was up, and it was actually pretty good for me to explain to them what it was, some history behind the game, etc., etc. Luckily we had no customers throughout this time, and it was just a bit crazy over the reactions I was getting from my fellow co-workers, eventually my break time was almost up and I had to put back my iPad. But overall, a very interesting day, one of many to come since that's basically what I am going to do every time I take a break there.

I introduced one of my friends to DDR and he managed to get decent at it, but that's about it.

Nowadays, some people have asked me "what are you playing?" while I play jubeat / REFLEC BEAT plus, and some of them have tried and progressed on them a bit... but I guess that's it.
