My first MFC ever, although console scores don't officially count. Plus, this song has only 36 steps.



Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the Marvelous timing window the same in the arcade and console versions?

No, it's slightly different. I got a "Perfect" step a few times on a console version for a note that I was sure was only a "good" step.

I'm not sure of the exact windows timing each has but I am sure it's different because I have AAA'd Bag just about every time on foot on console versions (american and Japanese) getting in the mid 30 "Perfect" steps, when I get around 3-6 greats in the arcade usually (probably with around 50-60 perfects to go along with the greats).

For some reason, I'm almost positive that the Marvelous window specifically is exactly the same as the arcade, whereas the Perfect window (and all other windows) are slightly larger on console versions to account for possible input lag.

Now that may be right. Thanks for making it clearer.

Oh, he basically said I stink at DDR because I'm not using CS games which apparently have LEGIT timing windows. He also posted spam on my wall telling me that I should buy all this junk just to please him so the videos meet his standards, so stupid. And he referenced Shao Kon(who I have no clue who that is).
Also, I posted these kinds of videos to the SM thread and they told me it didn't count because it was on the pad.
I can just not post them if that's the case. I won't have a console until I go home in about 3 weeks.
And I have my judge on 4 like the arcade actually.

I just don't get what's up with that guy. He's been extremely rude and he keeps bugging people (like me) to watch his videos and comment on them and crap. And he confronts you that you haven't watched them. Now he sees why. We don't have to watch them if we don't want to. You don't see me bugging people every single day to watch my vids. And plus, I realized he copied Kon's editing style (intro, scrolling text, banner of the song, guess the next AAA idea, etc.) That's not cool. That's basically being a poser to me, which is definitely not cool.

Yeah, he'd have to pay me to watch his videos and make ones that he'd approve of. I'm not spending even a penny on him. And I noticed that he did copy Kon's video style.

People have been copying me ever since I started messing with layouts of my videos. I honestly don't really care because so far the quality of the videos is poor compared to mine which are professionally produced a rendered in Vegas Pro 11.

Also the Shao Kon thing might have been a reference to me since I hate playing stepmania which can be seen in quite a few of my comments over my channel. I don;y necessarily have a problem with it as long as your not counting it towards DDR stuff/scores (timing windows are WAY different among many other factors).

With that all said I don't have much of an issue with him. He is a usual on my channel and have had much worse commenters over the history of my channel. Also in the future, official DDR related stuff only. Sorry Margo just got to keep stuff in its appropriate places, but its very cool to see you playing in your dorm

Gabe's the only one I know who literally does your exact editing skills. I use the same program too, but I do my intros differently and I don't use scrolling text or anything like that. And the Shao Kon thing, regardless he still didn't have to be rude you know?


Wait a minute, I PFC'd songs on stepmania. So then, those shouldn't count towards my PFC count?

Yeah, I'd prefer Stepmania videos out of this thread, but it's definitely still a nice video. By the way, judge 4 on Stepmania is no where near DDR timing if I recall correctly. I believe it's even lower than OITG standards (only by a little, judge 4.5 is like OITG or something. I forgot, could be wrong.) If you want arcade timing, it's judge 6, not judge 4.


Those don't count. Maybe at most, an ITG FEC, but definitely no where near a DDR PFC. As said many times before, ITG is geared for fantastic play while DDR is for perfect play. People get SDE's in ITG like SDG's in DDR. It's probably just me, but I'm a big stickler when it comes to timing windows. For instance you can have lots of DDR CS PFC's, but not even a single arcade PFC. Also in ITG it's incredibly easy to get constant FEC's versus an AAA.

Stepmania can count towards its own stuff, bot not DDR PFC's. Timing is absurdly different, they aren't even calculated in the same way (DDR uses frames, stepmania uses milliseconds).

Oh man, 14 of those PFC's were from Stepmania. So really I have 84 PFC's then? I have 98 so far (well at least I thought I did until now).

IMO you should start doing stuff on arcade (if there's any nearby). CS experience is nowhere nearby legit AC experience.

Looks like I haven't dropped this here. Last week I got 4 PFCs, bringing myself to a total of... 467 PFCs. This one stood out.



I think I can get less, especially since I did that with shoes. Barefoot should be better

Well not everyone has a DDR arcade nearby (good ones at least) like you so I think CS is fine. There is this SuperNOVA 2 AC in downtown that's in pretty "PFC-able" quality but I don't feel like going there a lot. That's a lot of driving. lol.

Well the arcade I frequent is pretty far actually. Usually the trip took about an hour... but in here it's pretty much nearer (and with fantastic public transportation) but the fare is not so cheap so I just go weekly :/
