Am I the only one who would take the time to actually finish (For lack of a better word.) Last Message's hidden glitch chart 10 years after the song first appeared in DDR?

define finish.

My brother bought a brand new copy of King of Fighters XIII and it will not play because the disc is somehow dirty. I know it's not my system because my other games play fine. I think Gamestop pulled the old tag used game as new switcheroo on him. Trying to find out how it's my fault. Annoyed

....how is that finishing the song? You can EDIT the song but if it's been put out by the stepchart artist as is, that's the official chart unless changed through game updates/removed by Konami.

I dunno, I guess it's as special as the next edit someone makes.

I'd be curious, but the Expert chart is one of my favorite charts ever, so it'd have to be better than that. *shrug*

"Bigger avatars when?"
Just curious about this, but has anybody ever been accused of trying to break a DDR Machine while playing on Expert, or Challenge? Just curious.

Break what? The pads? The machine-build? The monitor? EVERYTHING?

As far as I know, pads are usually the ones getting beaten senseless and are the highest probable cause for something to break on a DDR machine, as for monitors, the build, and the insides of it, never really heard much on that end, and given the circumstances, only people who would want to do something stupid to the machine (Matrix Walk for those who remember it) will evidently break it.

You would need a car/sledgehammer to break the machine in it's entirety, stupidity for the monitor and possibly the coin slot, and really only playing the game for the pads to start wearing out and give way.

Only true ~BeMNaI LeGNdZ~ can break machines and rebuild them as better machines than they were before.

If playing the game like it should be constitutes as an attempt to break the machine in an arcade I play at, I'd leave the arcade in a heartbeat (especially if a staff did that) because ~can't handle the stupidity~

then again why was this question asked?

Boredom does weird things. Just asked out of that reason. Thankfully, no arcade I've ever been to has done that .Big Grin The worker would have to be the epitome of brainless to accuse you of that. Also sorry if my question seemed brainless too.

You don't try to break a machine. Respect the hardware man. Confused

No, but I've watched people play who really were damaging the machine.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
You know what really grinds my gears? People who are referring to BEMANI crossovers and say that the song was "crossovered"....try "CROSSED OVER."

I know, it's severe nit-picking, but come on.

Ugh, that's just dreadful.
To make things worse, I have come across some really rude players who were hogging the machine even when they were clearly not playing it and just 'waiting there'.

Not to mention how the number of DDR machines have been reduced around here with game centers closing here and there due to horrible rent hikes because landlords around here think of game centers as a place which breeds crime.

This is why we can't have nice things. Seriously.

Dunno if it's still a problem these days, but a lot of arcades refused to turn on Joint Premium for older machines because there would always be that one kid who would 2P-jack someone's Singles game whether they wanted to let them join or not. One place I used to frequent had to keep telling someone to ask first and then it just turned into players being constantly hounded to let him join for free even if you told him (As I did) that you're playing Doubles.

"Can I play the left stage anyways?" "No!"

Well that stinks. At the place I frequent, whenever you're playing, it's usually some kid stepping on the pad you're on thinking it's funny, or some idiot jumping on the P2 pad and imitating me. The latter getting the message when I step on his foot. Luckily most of the time people are distracted by the other games. Big Grin

In my head:" GET THE HELL OFF THE MACHINE YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE NOT EVEN PLAYING!" As you can tell, it really irks me. Tongue
