What did they do this time?
Yesterday they warned me that if I record again, they'll ban me. But what I don't get is the first time I recorded there, not a SINGLE person came up to me. And I was there for HOURS! Now all of a sudden they come up to me. Makes no sense. I remember one guy telling me I couldn't but one guy said I could. But screw that place. Their DDR X2 isn't worth the money anyway. If I do go there I'll just take pictures instead. For now on I'm gonna make SN2 videos in City Walk. It's in perfect quality, not many people go to that arcade, and no staff even goes up there. I doubt they even care though. That's why I love it there. So SCREW YOU D&B!

Probably thought you were "cheating".
Screw 'em indeed. When they do have a dancing game, they never take care of it. That issue is compounded by Betson Quality™.

It could be worse, both machine-wise ,and recording-wise. There's a machine at Players in Pier 39(I live in the East Bay of the SF bay area BTW), and it's just a SuperNova ( not even a dedicab mind you), and IT IS A COMPLETE PIECE OF SHIT. They expect you to pay $2 for a 3-song game also. TWO F**KING DOLLARS FOR A 3-GAME SONG. From its quality you can tell it's never been touched. Record-wise you could be at the Boomers in Livermore where kids are always walking around and it's too dark for a footcam. It's a decent machine too(SuperNOVA).
Most places in CA have nothing higher than SuperNOVA. WHY? Most of these places could earn it that money back in a day. More so, if the machine is in good quality, someone will buy it from them.

Pretty much, the best way to get some good live recordings of DDR sessions, is if you own a machine, since quite literally almost everyone is getting rid of their DDR machines nowadays.

If an arcade was giving away a DDR machine I would get it in an instant.

A couple of months ago I stopped by this place called Ben and Ari's (mini golf/arcade) since I haven't been there in a while and their DDR Max 2 wasn't there anymore. I have no clue where it is now but I wish I knew before they got rid of it to see if maybe I can have it instead. I have plenty of room in the garage.

"suffering from success" |
Finally finished a new remix, and just in time for the next theme of the Summer Contest.
DDT6 - jam jam reggae [general idea remix]
A nice, happy, and generally upbeat remix of the original song from beatmania IIDX. I made an attempt to keep the feel of the remix the same, or as close as I possibly could, as the original, while also trying to incorporate new and warming melodies to the equation. Since there was no possible way for me to incorporate the original vocals into the mix, I decided to use the next best thing. Overall, it's a fun little remix, and I had a lot of fun working on it. Maybe a full version will make its way onto an album. We won't know until that ship comes. Keep on jammin'.
99 BPM.

TWO F**KING DOLLARS FOR A 3-GAME SONG
Where I live it's 2€ for 2 songs on a broken Betson Quality™ DDR X2 cab.
When I say broken, it's "stepping on the 1P pad randomly triggers arrows on the 2P pad" broken.
Oh, and that's when the arrows don't get stuck (I mean, you step on it and it stays in its trigerred state).

Ouch. That sucks. With cabinet I'm talking about, the P1 left arrow doesn't even work, screen is warped, pads are wobbly, and set on hard or up. it's an upgrade too (MAX or something) so the screen is a bit on the small side, in my opinion.

Bleh. So many clients at work claiming themselves to be designers and then submit low res jpeg files that were made in GIMP to be printed at 10 times its size. Some people need to learn to buy a clue.
Then again that's what I'm there for.
Side note: Thanks to one of our customer's businesses we now know that "Passion Parties" = orgy services. They totally 4Kids-ed that term.
Haha it works in this case since we are working in the print industry.

I have this idea for a future DDR game called Dance Dance Revolution IGNITE. I decided to make a Wikia page based on that idea: http://dance-dance-revolution-ignite-concept-game.wikia.com/wiki/Dance_Dance_Revolution_IGNITE_Concept_Game_Wiki.
There's not a lot on it yet. But there will be a lot of updates on the page soon. So far, I've only posted a page about a new feature I thought of called IMPROV MODE.
