So i'm like five days late but I went to Anime Boston (was anyone else there? Pretty good chance we crossed paths) and had my first DDR tournament and played 5thMix for the first time and met some inebriated self-proclaimed veteran named "Jim The Fly" and

So I originally wanted to leave around 8:00 or so this morning and I was up all night preparing and I'm only just now about to leave to take this ten-hour-or-so road trip and I'm running on about an hour of sleep at the moment WHAT A FUN DRIVE THIS WILL BE


Oh hey, someone else is actually going. If you go to the dealer's room, you might find me hanging out at the doujin dealer's table. I tend to spend most of my time there, just seeing what looks good, double-checking to make sure I don't already have it, recommending stuff to other customers, etc.

Also, I re-scanned all of my doujin covers because I was pretty sure I'd missed a few before and I currently have a total of 707 doujinshi. Does not include h-manga or official art books.

Fgah I was in the Dealer's Room in the morning and there are like four booths of doujins so I left and then learned it would be like a 30 minute wait to get back in and gave up. D: We're going back tomorrow, but then we gotta bolt back to Oklahoma in the afternoon so dunno how long I can try again.

One person thought I was Dist from Tales of the Abyss and that was about the only comment I got on my costume. :'D...

It was the doujin table with about fifteen boxes of porn in front, a projector displaying assorted Touhou videos, and a guy at the other end of the table shouting about yaoi.

Also, cosplaying as Zhuge Liang. Maybe photos later in he A-Kon thread probably.

So, I went full nerd on wednesday and got me a yugioh tin that came with 5 boster packs and 6 other cards... after the first 4 packs, I thought I wasn't gonna get anything good... and then the last pack had a card called "Cardcar D" and it is worth around $45... assuming the tin was only $20, that was a nice pick. I traded that for stardust and about $85 worth of cards to the president of yugioh club at my school... It was a good week

TLDR: with nerd power i made $65 worth of cards with $20

Went to the Pacers game (who claimed victory). =) I was even on the big screen during one of the timeouts. You should've seen me. I was like "OMG I'M ON THE SCREEN! I'M ON THE SCREEN!" like an excited school girl. And I didn't care.
