Played some X2/SN2 yesterday..

First pass on MAX 300 double!


Got a slightly higher score on Dynamite Rave AIR Special , hoping to PFC soon.


Same goes for Under The Sky . First time getting less than 5 greats, and I know I can get this done eventually.


Haven't played A in a while, tried yesterday and shaved almost 20 greats off my previous score, so it's an SDG! (I know I can do better though, just need practice).


Aaaaand then there's this.. AA'd exotic ethnic (no FC yet, sadly)

I'll try FC it with 25g or less next time.

Well... This is the first old-style 9 footer that I passed on a Betson X2 Cabinet. Not really something to be proud of, actually, but yeah, whatever. This song is quite mean for an old-style 9, I think. >_<

245/256, only 11 left. I've mentioned this before but 3 of them I can just ignore for now. So really I only have 8 left, the other 3 are very easy and I'm just waiting for the right time. In the case of two of them, they are 2nd mix challenge songs that will be unlocked later on X3, I'd rather wait to get them on X3 with a MA score then now and have to redo it again in the future.

After being a couch potato for 3 years and gaining 36 pounds, i practiced DDR for about 4 hours (total game play in the past 3 years) and the result was this:

Placed 6th in the DDR Storm event.
AAA'd Leading cyber (2nd try of the day) on "practice" hours, and announced an early guaranteed AAA shout-out to everyone watching.

Hopefully I can get to seed higher next time to get the better pad; the one that everyone kept winning on lol.

WARNING: EMBARRASSING VIDEO FOR BOTH OF US! The pad wasn't in the best shape when you have 40 people wanting to practice on them.



-His best that day was 4 (during the real match), mine was 10 (random attempt on practice day).
-Was recorded by another person with his camera (Lucas).

-Note to Dr.D: My coordination wasn't good enough to pull off 3 on first attempt, if I was able to play by myself without people ruining my tripod, turning off/on my camera and I wasn't forced off the machine after every song, I would have had that done and uploaded in 1 hour. I'll retry that Challenge at home when the machine comes (got delayed 2 weeks). I might have to buy a new camera too, mine is too small (and not HD even though it's 2 years old).

Here are two I finally got around to posting. One is slightly old and I forgot about posting it. The other is recent with...not so good MA, but I like the MA value itself. I don't think I've had a case with exactly 100 perfects before.

On Double, I have 5 left from Extreme to get that I can play on X3 (Mikkeneko, LOM, PSMH, PSMO, Maxx). Mikkeneko stands out to me, but that is still really brutal to get on the X series since they "fixed" the quantization. There is also Ska a gogo to get (I think...I don't believe I have done it and hope that out of some confusion it is lying on my old compact flash cards that I can't read on my PC without an adapter)...but I don't have any access to a DDR Extreme machine here.

I played a couple rounds of the US DDR X closest to my house and I was surprised at how good (one side of) the pads were. The other side, however, is a different story.
I still trying to adjust to the screen lag, but I'm getting there. I can probably PFC a few more easy songs if I come back there again.

Also surprised about the TL100secs. Don't be too hard on yourself with your MA. It's a really hard song to MA. Coincidentally I did play it and get 35 on it today.

And don't worry aaron, I saw your TL100sec double and since I just got it myself, I can attest to how amazing it is.

Now on to me. First of all, my trolling wasn't successful.

I purposely posted my bag PFC as a troll. If people remember, since DDR X2, the "Expert" chart is actually the new one and the "challenge" chart is the old broken one on DDR Extreme. I was assuming to complete Extreme legitly, I should get the broken one and not the fixed expert chart.

The reason it was a troll was because I actually got both of them anyways. In fact. I got the Challenge chart (broken) one first.

Question: How do you hit the last jump in Tohoku Evolved? (I recall you've passed it at least a few times with CUT1 on.) Do you play on 1x and see if you can react fast enough, or do you just quad all four arrows?

No, 1.5 is fine. Just hit all 4 arrows at the right time.

Yeah you're right. It's just more than what I usually get when I PFC a song. And that's funny that you PFC this today. Great job! You are very good at your timing. Heck you even MFC'd like what, 5 songs ever? That's outstanding. I'm hoping one day I MFC something regardless of difficulty. I tried one day and it is not easy. Even on beginner. lol!

I've been waiting forever to get my PS2-360 adaptor! Now I can play DDR Universe games and such. This is my first PFC on Universe 3. I'm actually quite proud of this one.
