I had a dream recently.
I dreamt I drove to work. Without entering the building, I drove right back. Despite driving back home, I found myself at my work parking lot anyway. I entered the building where several of my co-workers proceeded to restrain me while my mom cut my hair into this ugly-looking emo hairstyle, complete with the emo-eyepatch and all. Then a naked anime girl walked up to me and took my shirt off and said she had a gift for me. I asked her what the gift was and she reached behind her back and pulled out a rotten baloney sandwich with a bite taken out of it. Then I woke up.
If there's any truth to that "dreams have hidden meanings" gab, I would love to hear what that dream was supposed to signify.

It was a book. Scrolling further down was this description:

@DDRPhoenix: If you were a northern dweller, it would be 19, or 18 in some other provinces here. Our town is situated next to a province where the age is 18, so when someone says they are "going to Quebec" they usually mean they are going out drinking there.
In other news, I hacked my PS2 a few days ago to finally play all that IIDX goodness. I must say Free McBoot is just an amazing piece of software. Very well designed. Also switched to a CRT for the lagless experience and it has certainly helped with timing. LCD was also on the fritz, so one more reason to not use it for something like this.
@Silverhawke: That actually reminds me of the video YouTube put out for April Fools this year. That's definitely not a good sign. Next thing you know, someone is going to make a service where you send them queries and they give you back the first ten pages of a Google search. Internet in it's primitive form.

For someone whose life seems out of control, I think I'm handling things pretty well. Another guy from my class in high school got shot. Last I heard, he was hanging in there, but this is the second time in the past six days someone from my class, and the third time in three weeks someone from my school has been shot.
My girlfriend leaves for Puerto Rico at 8 in the morning. I saw her for the last time in what looks to be a while on Thursday. I'm still really sad about that but I know it's for the best. She's gonna go to a good university down there for only $14k and her grandparents have a lot of connections. So it's not so bad. But it still sucks.
I'm about 98% sure I'm moving to New Jersey as early as late July, because it's not safe here in Chicago for me. I need to get my license before I go so I went driving around today with my mom. I'm only planning on being there for two years. Actually, I plan on moving around a lot. First to New Jersey to get my associates in music tech, then to Miami for a year to make connections and get a job. I eventually want to be in Seattle by about 2020. It'll be tough but I think it's still a reasonable goal.
