Only my Railgun is iin the X2 demo rotation. Don't know about Heavy Rotation, never seen an X3.I'm talking about the demos in this DDR. I noticed those two songs because the last time I saw a machine demo a song that was from a previous mix was GOLDEN SKY on SuperNOVA 2. I don't remember what the rotation was when this game first came out but I don't remember seeing revived songs in it before now.
The current rotation is:
Starry HEAVEN
Caramelldansen (Speedcake Remix)
MEMESHIKUTE (X3 VX 2ndMIX)
Heavy Rotation (X3 VX 2ndMIX)
only my railgun (X2)

It wasn't?
I though that the BGA is available since Supernova, cause the "full" BGA was released for first time in a CS game and the next one AFAIK, is DDR Supernova
I'm probably mistaken so don't take this too serious xD

It is not on DDR SuperNOVA's arcade release. Its odd that they would put it on the new DDR imo, I don't think its in any game up to DDR 2013 either. I could be wrong but I have never seen that background before.

^Yeah, that's the funny part. Be Lovin is the only song in DDR Extreme 2 that didn't use its background video in DDR Supernova. At least, if memory serves me right. Same thing happened to Candy<3 when it was revived in X2 and X3 only.
