I found out why I haven't gotten that much AA's around last year. On EXTREME, I really had to press the panels a tad later than the usual to get a higher rate of Perfects. On SuperNOVA, timing is just right. Maybe Kon your co-worker's SN cabinet has a slight lag on the CRT monitor.

No, SuperNOVA and all games following it have a later timing window. SuperNOVA is considered "spot on" with timing, as in you don't necessarily have to hit the notes early or late to register a perfect. Its still not absolutely perfect but its very damn close.

Also if you have a tube arcade monitor like the one at work does then you are most certainly not dealing with latency problems.

ON DDRMAX, as long as you get a full combo you get a AA, even if you have only Greats. I think it was only like that for the American release.

I FINALLY FINALLY FC'd Horatio on ! I'm really grateful about it too. And I have to say this chart is really fun to play on. One of the funnest level 15s to play. I believe this is my....2nd level 15 song to FC. My first one was ZETA. I'm hoping one day my next level 15 FC will be SABER WING (AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot Mix).

I had a pretty epic day yesterday on singles and doubles. I'll just post things chronologically.

Warmed up on singles trying to improve some MA.
Fever-7p
Resurrection 3p (3 times total)
Boom Boom Dollar 2p (beat my own WR)

Then I was in the mood to try for a new MFC. I worked on Dynamite rave AS for a couple sets but it wasn't happening. Nearby that song I saw brilliant 2U OG and remember I havent tried it for a while. Played it once with 4x (usually only do 3.5) and got it!

I already had the WR on it before at 2p so this was WR and first in the world.

Then I went on doubles to get some more PFC's and work on some extreme.

Good doubles PFC's. Don't worry about your MA too much for doubles, it's on par with mine for the most part. Your probably beating me on a lot of doubles anyways.

Speaking about doubles, I played more today determined on one goal, AAA Max 1 including exclusives. I did it!

I started by just getting the Exclusives. (redid Justify my Love for a pic for reasons stated in my other post)

I seriously don't understand my problem with this song. It's taken more tries than I'd like to admit. I was teased twice more with a BF then 0 and 1M. I was about ready to quit when I finally got it.


So that doe it, 6 mix is 100% finished on singles and doubles.

This is a amazing accomplishment for me. For one, that is on Double and the second reason is because it was the first double AAA I have ever gotten while using the bar. All other AAA's I have gotten on Double were without the bar so this took some time to get used to. Finally got the hang of it. I think some AAA's will start coming in more smoothly now.
