Let It Out

Just finished the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 and it is GLORIOUS. Brings together all your allies at once on a single mission and your whole crew steamrolls the enemies while they cry and panic. Then you top it all off by getting all your friends from all three games and throwing a big-ass party. Not to mention, they throw in a surprising amount of humor, especially when referencing the multiplayer and player behaviors. Bonus points for Mark Meer actually saying a lot of the jokes well instead of ruining them in the delivery with his deadpan voice.

Also, my character is mostly Paragon with just a smidge of Renegade, but the DLC offers the best death threat in the form of a string of Renegade Interrupts.

"The minute...the SECOND I get out of here, I'm going to take your head and mount it in the Normandy CIC."

*RT*

"Then I'm going to mount HIS head next to YOURS!"

*RT*

"Then I'm going to take BOTH of your heads and space them out the AIRLOCK!"

I would gladly tarnish a full-Paragon character just to make that threat again.

Everything I hear about Citadel is awesome. I'm going to rebuild a new save from the ground up because I've been wanting to for a while now and I haven't done any of the ME3 DLCs yet.

Everybody's character has those few Renegade points because there are some moments that are just too good to pass up. (Conrad's foot)

I'm getting tired of people complaining about gimmicky charts in DDR so I made [I did not personally write the charts] this DWI Extreme course to show what IMO are non-gimmicky charts.



Course is as follows...

1. Energize - N-logic BPM: 143 - 15
2. 1, 2, 3, Go! - DC-10 BPM: 210 - 17 <- This is how a 200+BPM chart should handle 16th notes
3. Check out the Sound - Seduction & Al Storm BPM: 174 - 18 [debatable 19]
4, Get Down - ASK BPM: 164 - 19

Well, there is one stop and a hand in 1, 2, 3, Go! but the rest have no gimmicks.

The Energize chart is IMO one of the sexiest charts I have ever played.

PS: That is the sweet DDR Party skin.

I'm so upset that DC3 stopped releasing DLC songs. It's too soon. I would understand if it was around June or July like DC2. Well anyway, this is me doing the last DLC song that was released Tuesday: London Bridge by Fergie.

Since I've had nothing better to do the past few days, I've started to make some DDR length edits (well, between 1:01-2:25) of some songs on my computer. Hopefully, I'll be able to show you all some of these music edits real soon. I'm rather impressed with the quality of them.

More than likely Harmonix is gearing up to start developing the next title in the series along with possibly the next Rock Band title or some completely new IP for the current and next-gen consoles. Seeing that they are stopping both DC and RB DLC's this could very well mean that it's time for their next projects, plus it's eerily close to the so-called 'Next Xbox' event, and then soon after that E3 2013. Let's see if Harmonix have something up their sleeve to keep the Western rhythm game market floating, or if they are going to be producing a game that dorsn't involve rhythm or music in it. Shall be interesting to see...

Spent about 6 hours today watching Zone animate like...~15 frames for Skullgirls. Granted it was mostly cleanup work, but still, solid animating. It's actually pretty amazing to see this stuff happen in real-time, especially the amount of detail that goes into even a single frame of animation for a character with over 1,300 individual frames.
