I'll try to. For me, songs like this I try to remember which parts to start with which foot. In some case I will purposely double step at first cause I know it will lead me into a more favorable situation later. Good example would be second heaven .

As for me, I had a really epic day on doubles.

Down to 21 left, 92% done. This is where things get a lot tougher, I can just about guarantee I wont have another day like this since I have far fewer left and a lot of them will be hard as balls. 95% by next week would be nice but would take a lot of work.

Definitely happy about the HVAM score, since I remember at the start of the year I couldn't even pass it

2 oustanding accomplishments!

I'm in complete shock that I Aced POSSESSION on ! This is one of my best accomplishments in my DDR career! I'm really hoping one day I can AA this. DrD, I just don't know how you PFC this (more than once too). To me, that is PURE talent.



Now for this one, this is my LONGEST PFC I've ever gotten! EVER.

I was having so much trouble getting The Reflex on Extreme. It was getting really frustrating. The other song I was trying to get was Highs Off you, and again, having a really hard time on Extreme.

I decided to put Max 2 in and play them. (coincidentally enough, I remember back in the day I wasn't able to get highs off you and reflex until I played them on max 2.)

Well it worked for The Reflex

But damn, Highs off U... Any one have advice for that one? I've flagged it twice.


Just the beginning is hard to time. The steps over all are uncomfortable and the syncing is questionable. I may put in Max 1 too see if I fair any better.

Lastly, I AAAed Justify my Love on doubles. Unfortunately, this is currently my only AAA I can not prove. My gf accidentally hit the start button of the results screen before I got a pic. Guess I gotta redo it...

Sure that is on Single, but I wouldn't want to bother with the syncing bullshit so I would mute the game on double too.

LOL No wonder I always get a great somewhere in the middle. It seems this song has syncing issues it seems.

Really though, if you have trouble with those gallop parts in the middle just add an extra ghost step in between making it
5 steps in a row. I like those off-beat songs, I use them in competitions against less consistent but overall better players

-I hate consistent players that AAA every song (9 footers or lower) in tournies lol. It takes forever for them to just loose!

Me too. I usually get random greats on songs that I almost always AAA on Extreme. Maybe it's because of that or maybe because I'm not used to DDRMAX2 as I'am to Extreme.

Timing window is the exact same it's just placed differently, you probably have to hit it a tad bit earlier depending on the sensors and the screen output. But I'm 100% certain it's the same, I had trouble AAing Maxx Unlimited Extra Stage the first time I ever played a 7th Mix. I think it was late 05' and i got 43 Greats on reverse 1.5X when I could get 14 greats or less on extreme reverse 1.5X back then.

I am saying the perfect window HAS to be the same. The actual placement of the Perfect window may actually be slightly earlier/later, but it felt pretty spot on with EXTREME to me. Its definitely not like the switch to SuperNOVA where the window got moved up (later). That was very noticeable to me.
