My only wish: make it available for South America please, don't force a million dollar deal for a lot of 50 cabinets!

At this point, my only wish is that Bemani stays together long enough for us to get a new DDR at all in 2018.

My wish: get rid of the DDR X announcer in the songs. It's frustrating when 1 of the 12 "boss songs" of the game (Extra Exclusive songs 1-10 + Endymion and Ace for Aces) have the announcer in them and getting clean audio means being number one in a popularity contest.

EVERY ONE OF THESE except DEGRS could be added to the regular songs as edit charts. If you're really THAT compelled to play them. DEGRS is also completely unnecessary, as songs have gotten both more bullshit and more polished since then. And no, there's no "iconically bad shit."

As do Kakumei and Dance Dance Revolution. But that's perhaps why he mentioned 'edit' as opposed to Challenge. The flaw with this logic, though, is we haven't seen an edit feature recently. So I dare ask "why not just let them be, some people still play them". There are lots of stuff I'm not fond of but as long as they're KOs and do not require licensing fees and whatnot, I don't really think they do anyone harm just by existing.

How hard can it be for the game developers to add in a sixth difficulty option named "Special" or something that only the X-Specials and Groove Radar Specials would use? It would even work with DEGRS now that split timing is a thing.

I wanna see more original songs made for the next mix, I'm tired of seeing bemani artists avoiding ddr like it's the plague (or the sound directing choosing favorites) and wanking IIDX instead

If they're gonna make more 19s, and goodness forbid a 20, they could at least TRY to look at ITG charts, and take a hint.

...or just pull another DDR Universe 3, the only relevant DDR mix in my eyes.

The first 8 or so DDR mainstream arcade mixes (I stopped playing at Extreme - the 8th mainstream mix) actually had a “good” rating that broke the combo.


I agree with you on this. We already know who the best is, and with easier songs that have been MFC’d numerous times, what’s the point?
