Agreed. Launch sales may be good so far, but they probably won't last realistically. The 3rd Party selection so far is already looking bittersweet - there are some good titles, like Project Sonic 17 and No More Heroes 3, but the rest seem to be ports of sports games and last-gen games. That's not gonna sell units for this thing.

It hasn't even been out for a week yet. Give it a chance.

There's still E3 and (hopefully) more Nintendo Directs coming later this year, so don't count on the Switch being Nintendoomed just yet.

The subscription fee is so small and the possible incentives they will offer for it definitely makes it worth it. If it was like $19.95 a month then I would complain about it, but I heard it's like $12 a year, it's nothing.

I picked up a Switch along with Breath Of The Wild and I'm pretty happy with it. No issues so far.

And no, I didn't "taste test" the cartridge, because I'm not a fucking Neanderthal.

Get used to these kinds of framerates on the Sswitch. I'm okay with not having 60, but a solid 30 should be a given.

Honestly, it just looks like a Splatoon expansion pack to me. Splatoon v1.2 or something. I suppose it's good for people who missed the original.

I guess I just enjoy the prospect of taking N64 games on the go without the use of an emulator.

I've never played the original Splatoon I guess the only thing I'd be missing is how do I play the game (unless there's some kind of beginner mode and/or tutorial) and the possible connections with the story of the original Splatoon.

But I do get your point, when Splatoon 2 was initially teased it did look like the original one, sans the characters customizations. I really hope Nintendo will announce what'll be new in this game.

Capcom has just announced that Monster Hunter XX is heading to the Switch. Japan only at this point since the franchise is royalty over there. Great news and this will smash the charts over there.

I'm sure it'll be localized. Even in America Monster Hunter has a decent fanbase and makes a nice sum of money for Capcom. Not a whole lot when compared to Japan, but still enough to warrant an American release.

And even if it somehow DOESN'T get released over here, you can always import it.

A Monster Hunter game on the Switch sounds pretty cool. I imagine it should bring up a bunch of new opportunities for multiplayer. I've never really been interested in that series, but maybe I'll try it out on the Switch.

All the games I want for the time being are out. I still need to get a Switch.
