Oni what crazy alternate world do you live in and how can I get there? The general consensus for Dancing Stage that I've seen is two pads = two pounds. Unless you mean the more vague seaside areas and not mainstream ones like Blackpool?

Nope. I live in the Midlands and the only Extreme I've ever seen was one on the bottom floor of the Trocadero in London and one in an arcade at an amusement park in Skegness. Neither are close enough to get decent practice on.
So Deep is on EuroMIX2 though so many I'll give that one a look.

Well I don't think duct-taping two of my soft pads together would be a very good idea, so I only practice doubles at the arcade. Besides, my three mats are for SN1, Mario Mix and HP, and the last two don't have doubles or edit mode >__>
I am considering playing on the left side while holding a controller to hit the right side though.
Oh, and here's So Deep doubles' chart. (Aeron: Lol, I'll take take your word for it on that one. I'm still considering hands for exotic ethnic)

I actually got through the bosses on HMM doubles (including NGO, but only the bosses), just by mashing all the buttons to the beat of the steps. >_>
I should go back and actually do HMM doubles, since I have my pads hooked together more stably now.

Given that the "Dancing Stage" franchise is ending and DDR X is being pushed for a global release how many people think that DS SuperNova 2 is even on the board anymore? If this was slated for September when some think the PS2 versions of X are now shooting for will Konami attempt a dual launch or just scrap this one?

Nah, it's still on board. A rendering of the floor plan for the Games Convention in Germany in August shows the SuperNOVA2 logo. So it's a very high chance they won't scrap it. Plus, it's on the Sony site so I doubt it.

I expect this to see release on PS2 followed by DDR X having a few machines sold to arcades that might possibly afford them, like the Trocadero. Then expect chav girls to be wondering why something called Dance Dance Revolution seems to have appeared and looks so much like Dancing Stage because Konami will probably handle the name changeover with about as much care and grace as a cow on ice.

"Not quite the original, but still the best."(?)
"The name we should have called it to begin with, sorry Europe."

Haha yeah, I was about to mention that... None of those girls actually know what it's called even though it's plastered in big letters on the top.
Even some of my friends who aren't chavs don't know waht it's called, so I just call it the "dancing game" to them. Only a few of my friends that don't play it know what I'm talking about when I call it "DDR".

Never heard chav girls actually describe the game, see I mostly suffer their dodgy looks and snide comments when I play. I was just expressing that they might notice that it looks a lot similar to 'that dance mat game' but the name seems different, init?
