Lost by one point at the last minute. Sounds a lot like ToI6 Round 2 all over again.
I'll take that as a sign to avoid 154 BPM 32nd drills for a while. Congrats on the win Lisek, cool file too!

Try to do something you'd probably find in ITG's SPEEEDCOOOORE packs, not something KONAMI-easy. Also, I think we should both be allowed to submit something longer than 2:30 for this particular matchup. A lot of good Speedcore tracks (particularly in the Speedcore packs) tend to be roughly 2:30-3:00 long. And, trying to cut/snip them to comply with Immortal's standards is just silly imo, and would probably limit our song choices.

Darn, the avoidance of 154 BPM 32nd drills on a 12-footer chart wasn't what I was hoping for. Oh, well, at least it wasn't something negative spurred by my scribbles (which has happened before)

Quote: Pandemonium X

I was actually somewhat undecided on this one, mainly due to the not-so-good 2nd doublestep in Myung Fang Lone and Mint having only 5 feet, but then had the bad luck (for you) to play Mint on pad and have a lot of fun dancing to it.
Thanks to mf32892 and HealingDMax300 for clarifying what I thought were faults of their songs' charts.
To mf32892: Unfortunately, it was my mistake not to bother putting the chart in Stepmania 5, since it actually didn't bother me that much. The ones that I did place in Stepmania 5 were only because the chart otherwise had strange, gaping moments (especially Feraligatr's and Loodee's) or notes that didn't register (which I noticed in Pandemonium X's file). That might have actually have affected who I voted for, and I have to apologize for that. (At least you still won

To HealingDMax300: My bad. I didn't see the long freeze arrow, which definitely made it clear the doublestep was intentional. (Not having the rest of the arrow be freeze notes would have made it easier for me to see that.) Good thing that I wasn't voting in our bracket

Well, this was postponed by like 4 hours because of a power outage that interrupted me while I was typing this on my computer. This 110° weather was probably the cause for the outage that left 900+ houses without power.

This was actually requested by a YouTube subscriber. I opened up requests after breaking my streak of uploading a DDR/StepMania Edit of some sort every Saturday from Oct 17, 2015 to May 28, 2016 (so 8 months). This is one of the first requests I took up.
Be aware that I have a couple of intentional doublesteps in

I've been waiting for a while to submit this. I submitted this cut to Simfile Shuffle for [ROUND H]. I wasn't entirely satisfied with Nezemarth's rendition (I thought it was too hard) and I planned on stepping it anyways. So I did. I considered sending this file in for TOI6 qualifier, but thought Age-Age Money would be riskier (b/c of song choice) so I went with that because there wasn't any real penalty for it (I would rather have taken a penalty earlier rather than later). I didn't really fall in love with DDRDAIKENKAI's chart either, so I still have a reason to submit this.
I made

Most of the file runs at 155, but there are a couple of short 77.5 sections. The ending vocals are a bit wonky and this causes the BPM to be kind of interesting. I had to use speed changes to get them to fall on 4ths, 8ths or 16ths. I believe I have stepped them as accurately as possible. Don't be too troubled if you can't time it right, though.
I made

The .ssc file has scrolls to make the ending scroll more consistently, since it wavers a bit. They're not entirely necessary, but it effectively Cmods the fluctuating BPM to 160 BPM so it's not as jarring.
That's enough ranting from me. I hope you enjoy these files! Good luck to brunobg24 and Lisek!
P.S. I might tweak a couple things later on if I find that they bother me enough (mainly in lower charts.)

It's not worth tabbing until we're two rounds down, when it actually gets all mathy.
I have the Excel file ready anyway. Might Google doc it.

I'm heading out for a while. Here, have a simfile.

Neo Generator Seven / L.E.D.-G
From beatmania IIDX 22 PENDUAL
BPM: 91-384
3,
5,
8,
10
X-Ratings not available.
Here's your daily dose of gimmicks. Every gimmick is marked with a pair of mines. (except for stutter-stops, since they're just used as effects) I'd advise you play a lower difficulty first to learn the pattern of the slowdowns and speedups before playing Expert.
Good luck, HealingDMax300.

I figure if I don't upload it now I won't.
[Round 2]: Round 2! vs. Gameoson

snow storm | dj TAKA

There is an edit chart, but I only included it because I originally wanted to have a 24th run in there, but I decided against it for the actual chart. I just included it for those who want to have the extra added challenge of that one part. It's the only difference between
and the edit chart.
Been looking forward to this matchup. A pleasure to face you once again, Gameoson.

9/12
10/15
Well this is overdue. I submitted this song to Simfile Shuffle 2014 where Spork! ended up pulling it out of the backup pile (and he did a pretty good job of stepping it!). I've actually been meaning to step this song myself for a long time but until now it's kinda just been sitting on the back burner. Like any good glitch hop song, expect lots of 24ths!

Happy to see you were able to find a song you like to step for this round. But remember, the length waive is optional, so you don't have to step a long song if you don't want to.

Thoughts on
being the harder difficulty and
being an easier bonus chart? I think I might be able to get this submission out, the song I found is so good and I see awesome charts for it, but this particular combination I'm picturing in my head is what I'm wondering about.

If there's something special about the
chart, or if you envision that chart as something that is meant to be used for a full-combo challenge (ala encore extra stage), then I would love to see that!
